Why? He didn't get you to the Playoffs either.
He won the Heisman and immediately lost against Tulane.
Notre Dame wide receivers coach Mike Brown was asked if he felt like the play calling needed to be more aggressive.
He didn't flinch:
"I think we got to execute better. Regardless of the play call, we have opportunities we are missing. It all boils down to execution."

Mike Brown on the receiver rotation and the lack of one against BYU:
“I’ve got to do a better job navigating that.”
Brown said the rotation can’t be as “lopsided” as it was in Provo.
Marcus Freeman reached out to Riley Leonard after BYU, having gone through a similar moment with him after NIU.
Freeman explained the responsibility that comes with leadership during difficult moments:
“In leadership you can't show sometimes what you're feeling on the inside. That's not what the people you lead need. CJ needed that same thing after BYU.”
Leonard offered his own perspective on the pressure that comes with playing at Notre Dame:
“Notre Dame is worldwide. There is no such thing as Notre Dame lost I don't care. At times it can feel like a lot of people are against us, but what a privilege that is.”

ABC announces it will oppose NBC's Miami-Notre Dame prime time game with Georgia-Ole Miss on that highly anticipated Saturday night, Nov. 7.
Marcus Freeman in his Press Conference right now:
"Yeah there was a second left on the clock, but we didn't deserve it. We can't use it as an excuse. The outcome of the game would have been differnet if we would have executed many other plays."

Marcus Freeman will hold a press conference in a couple hours.
Does anyone think anything has changed?

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Notre Dame is ranked No. 5 in the new AP Poll. They fell one spot.
This after they didn't play a game this week. Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and BYU lost this weekend, causing some shake up.
Remember when BYU's DL Justin Kirkland joined (@CougConnect) and admitted he yelled "Hut" that caused CJ Carr to fumble the spike?
BYU lost to now 4-3 UCF.
This is what Karma was made for.

Let’s be honest here…
The most BYU thing ever would be to beat Notre Dame and then lose to UCF next week

Notre Dame is everyone’s favorite to win the College Football Playoffs and have just a 3 point lead on Wisconsin at the half 😬

Breaking: UCF was very respectful to Bear and his family during his recruitment
Crazy to think what College Football can be when Nick Saban isn't paying players under the table anymore
