I’ll say it again – turning Chat into an eccentric, camp character is a brilliant idea, really. I mean, my goodness, it really helps the story. It’s the only right decision with this bloody book
People who haven’t read the book simply can’t imagine how much heavy-lifting GinJay do to make these characters work on screen. The script helps, but it’s mainly down to GinJay

Yes, I’m getting a bit paranoid about ep 5, and how they’ll portray the rift between Chat and Nan, and how they’ll depict Nan’s past. Well, sue me, but I don’t fully trust this industry – they’ve let me down before. Until ep 5 airs, I’ll keep worrying about it

So far, LoH has done a brilliant job of adapting such a "challenging" book. The series is funny, absurd and entertaining. But... In the next episode, I’ll either be showering the scriptwriters with kisses, or someone’s going to see me on the news
