In his first private audience since undergoing lung surgery, Pope Leo XIV met with participants of the Vatican’s “Holiness in History” conference on Wednesday, emphasizing the importance of studying the lives of saints with historical rigor and understanding them within the context of their time.
The Holy Father highlighted how the saints offer the faithful examples of holiness, spiritual guides, and intercessors who help the Church face today’s challenges and recognize new opportunities.
Their witness, he said, continues to inspire the People of God in our own times.

Something free--like free play, or walking to the store--is assumed to be less valuable than something you buy, like lessons. But some things that are FREE and invisible--independence and play--are as crucial to kids as AIR (also free and invisible)!
