So many horror stories courtesy of the @NYCACC, such as the silent killing of 7 month old Hanchoπ
Given no chance-just killedπ
LILA & MAGOO quickly & silently killed on intake at @NYCACC despite the speedy efforts of loved 1βs. Common in backward pounds across NYS, their stories remained untold by the media, until now.

βWhat do you mean thereβs no food?!?β
While the costumes may be packed away and the candy buckets are half emptyβ¦ itβs still spooky season here on the ranch!
We only received one donation for Five Dollar Friday, and we are completely out of dog food. The dogsβ bellies canβt wait β we need to get some food today!
Please, if you can, head to our Amazon Wish List and send some food our way, or donate through Venmo or PayPal so we can run to the store and stock up.
Every kibble counts. Every share helps. And every dollar keeps tails wagging and tummies full.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts (and hungry bellies)!

A canceled NYC Council hearing means bad things for homeless companion animals for the entire next year.

Intakes are down; killings are up.
ACC killed 3,235 cats and dogs last year.
The dog LRR hit a 10-yr low. Fewer than 3 in 4 made it out alive; for cats it was nearly 1 in 5 killed.
Not once in 10 years did the combined live release rate approach 90 percent. Much less a true NK percentage.

Miami-Dade shelter gave poor Casper to Erika LΓ³pez to foster. She used a shock collar on him, beat him, let him off leash and he had an incident on the beach. Now she's threatening to kill him or dump him back at the shelter.
Call. Email. Help this dog.

HOURS LEFT, DELISTED in preparation TBK in NYCACC: she has survived since February, Hope 194141 is scared, but every day she sets out to be her best. She's well behaved when being leashed and returned to her kennel, but is easily startled and seeks the quieter environments where you'll see signs of a small wag of her tail. Six years old and a shy and beautiful girl who's looking for the safety of loving northeast family with kids age 13+. Please repost pledge, let's save Hope!

1. Not only did @NYCACC neuter & then murder SNOW, but they killed the lovable dog with 2 homes to go to! Send an email w/his pix to the Committee Chairs, & tell them friendly dogs are being neutered & killed even when they homes to go to, & tell them to let #SARA come to a vote!
2 peeps inquired on FB about him & appeared to put through paperwork to either rescue or adopt. How can we find out wut happened? The peeps on FB r very rude so maybe someone can answer? This is just so friken sickening. π€@NYCACC π€@DonnaLupardo π€@MichelleHinchey
