🇬🇪 In 2026 two European capitals voted out governments that kept a door open to Moscow. Budapest in April. Belgrade in October. The third is Tbilisi, where the ruling party wants the opposition banned before any vote. 🧵What Georgian Dream does for Moscow, Tehran and Beijing.

On Monday, New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill sent letters to 12 ports and terminals demanding that they refuse Russian diesel imports. The Democratic politician threatened investigations and million-dollar fines, which they will be forced to pay even after Trump's presidential term ends. Receiving Russian fuel would violate federal law, and she stated she is ready to use all available legal and regulatory tools to prevent any tanker from offloading Russian fuel in New Jersey. Thank you Mikie. 💙 @MikieSherrill

In 2026, across Europe, supermarket refrigerators have become instruments of sabotage. In at least eleven countries — from Belgium to Sweden, Germany and Portugal — hackers raised the temperatures of refrigeration systems to as high as 50 °C, forcing retailers to discard tonnes of food and causing losses running into the millions. The first attack of this kind occurred only in France in October, it has now spread to more countries. In France, the same type of attack reached blood banks. Storage units belonging to the Établissement Français du Sang saw their temperatures reprogrammed from -30 °C to 110 °C, although rapid detection prevented any operational damage. Democratic institutions, administrative networks and airport check-in providers have not been spared. The pattern is one of increasingly prosaic targets, with chaos measured by how easily food and plasma — crucial elements in the event of a catastrophe — can be spoiled. In parallel, this week saw a wave of false bomb threats directed at 271 Italian schools and at least seven European flights — resulting in diversions, fighter-jet escorts and temporary airport closures — as well as at a cruise ship operated by an Israeli company, the Crown Iris, which was evacuated in Greece while en route to Haifa. None of the threats was confirmed. At almost the same time, the largest cryptocurrency theft in history drained roughly 6.3 billion dollars from Binance in about half an hour. The FBI and blockchain analysts attribute the operation to the North Korean group TraderTraitor, whose proceeds have for years funded the regime’s weapons programme. The digital realm, so often presented as libertarian, is revealed here as an efficient financing channel for actors who care little about the stability of the West. These episodes — refrigerators, blood banks, bomb threats and cryptocurrency heists — bear the hallmark of trials. They measure response times, the capacity to contain damage, and the degree of disorganisation that can be generated with relatively modest resources. They do not occur in isolation. They have intensified while, in France, Italy, Germany, Spain and other countries, protests over the cost of living and education increasingly turn into clashes, looting and attacks on security forces, with radical groups exploiting the situation. The overlapping calendar allows one to gauge, with almost experimental precision, how quickly everyday order fractures when digital pressure and street pressure coincide. The majority of citizens, owing to the media, continue to treat each incident as an isolated accident or as a footnote. The escalation suggests the opposite: a calibration phase in which what European society can withstand is being tested before the chaos ceases to be experimental. Paying attention and preparing oneself — strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure, reducing the exposure of industrial systems, and not normalising violence in the streets — is, at this moment, the bare minimum of realism.

Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face. These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy. While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

An oath to the Constitution isn't just something we take. It's something we live. Whether in public service, in uniform, or at the ballot box, our democracy depends on honoring the principles that unite us. #TheOathProject #HoldFast #Vote

WOW! FLORIDA! I'm hearing on the ground here in Florida that Democrats will likely outperform expectations here tonight. This is what 2 Republicans on the ground told me just now. They are frantic: Don't pay attention to the raw Republican-versus-Democratic turnout numbers. It's the Republican crossover vote and the No Party Affiliation voters who matter. Look at these numbers from a recent Florida poll: 🔵 REPUBLICANS CROSSING OVER TO DEMOCRATS: • 13% support Democrat David Jolly for governor. • 12% support Democrat Angie Nixon for Senate. 🔴 DEMOCRATS CROSSING OVER TO REPUBLICANS: • Just 3% support Republican Byron Donalds for governor. • Just 4% support Republican Ashley Moody for Senate. That's roughly THREE TO FOUR TIMES as much Republican crossover support, measured as a percentage of each party's registered voters. Now look at the voters who could make an enormous difference: No Party Affiliation (NPA) voters. In the 2024 presidential election, Florida's self-identified independent voters broke approximately: 🔴 Trump: 53% 🔵 Harris: 45% An 8-point Republican advantage. But in the latest RedBox Research polling for 2026, registered NPA voters are breaking: GOVERNOR: 🔵 David Jolly: 55% 🔴 Byron Donalds: 30% U.S. SENATE: 🔵 Angie Nixon: 54% 🔴 Ashley Moody: 29% That's a 25-point Democratic advantage among NPA voters in BOTH races in this poll, or a 33% swing! When you see Republicans leading Democrats in raw turnout, you're seeing how many people registered with each party have voted. You are NOT seeing whom they voted for. A registered Republican voting for David Jolly still shows up as a Republican in the turnout numbers. An NPA voter supporting Angie Nixon doesn't show up as a Democratic voter in those same numbers. And a Democratic candidate can outperform their party's registration numbers without a corresponding increase in registered Democratic turnout.
