Dear Marfa,
Words will fail me but I will try.
The one that kept appearing was gratitude. I don’t know what I did to deserve this luck but weekends like this shine the spotlight and make me repeatedly ask, “why me?”.
Another that kept showing up was contrast.
So many things I love have a natural contrast to them.
Drinking hot coffee on a cold morning.
Ambient music played loud.
Unassuming experiences that turn into deeply cherished memories.
Beautiful contrasts followed us all weekend:
The light and shadows around Chinati.
The diversity of people I interacted with but the togetherness I felt.
The craziness of our world around us, but the calmness of knowing I was exactly where I should be.
I really hope I have the opportunity to come back. Next time with my wife and daughter. That would be the only way I can adequately explain this to them. There is an authenticity and warmth of Marfa that can’t be described. The closest thing is the warmth of being home.

Grateful for all the artists and patrons that make this weekend in Marfa feeling like a movie. Making deeper connections and slowing down to enjoy all the hard work the artists put into their practice.
I’m a big believer in this space and everyone in it. We came here with a budget of 15k and ended up spending the entire @fndzionaversano treasury of 50k. There was so many great events and artists who show up in the middle of the Texas desert. We see you and appreciate you and honor you with the beautiful works you are creating.
I’m just an artist who believes in this space and wants to build a permanent collection of all my peers and hopefully we can continue to do this initiative every year!
We collected many prints, physicals, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and lots of NFTs not pictured in this image. I love you fam, and most importantly thank you for the love you pour into your art.
Hopefully someday we will have a permanent building to house and display all these works. In the meantime, it will go up on the studio walls to remind us how far we have come and who we are becoming through the works we create and collect.
Thank you @artblocks_io for putting together this wonderful event for us to all come home to every year.

Art is life. I could give you a million reasons why, but the beautiful thing is that I don’t have to.
If you get it, you see it everywhere.
Five years of coming to Marfa for @artblocks_io and somehow I always leave with more than I came with. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this but it’s truly special.
All the artists exhibitions were truly awesome and @glitchmarfa brought me out here to document it, what a treat.
A long journey from NYC to get to this corner of the world, to see new faces, old friends, and make new connections, some, I have a feeling will last a lifetime.
@AdamWeitsman closed out the weekend with an incredible drone show that lit up the Marfa sky. I saw it, everyone saw it. I’m sure everyone was blown away. Not to mention @lphaCentauriKid larger than life physical piece that no picture can make justice to. huge congrats! A perfect ending to a beautiful few days.
This is the kind of trip that remind me why I fell in love with art in the first place.
I’m flying back home more inspired than I’ve felt in a long time.
Thank you Marfa. I’ll see you again next year.

Long time since a museum show of digital art kept resonating with me for days afterwards. The Vera Molnar exhibition at the @V_and_A is that rare thing: beautiful and alive. Her pioneering systems still feel fresh next to today’s generative artists like @harmvddorpel & @mattdesl . Loved every minute of it.

One of the aspects that blows my mind is this piece was actually secured by Justin before I had even started it. Simply from the title and the intention that I had discussed with him prior to the exhibition, Justin knew he wanted to add it to his @fndzionaversano collection instantly and trusted my vision to shape the work.
