I wanted to transfer schools when I was in high school. My parents said no, you’re staying put 16 years later, I’m thankful they said that because I get to play alumni softball with my teammates this weekend - like we do every year Memories, relationships and community matter

I have to give a big shout out to Mike Bell at International He took over a job a few years ago that nobody wanted. The Lions had lost 70+ City League games in a row, and were used to getting beat by 60+ against the division powers Last night, they beat Beechcroft in OT, 70-67

When a person of color shares their experience with you, the worst thing you can do as a white person is minimize that experience and argue against it. If you want to show empathy for people different from you, just LISTEN. And that's the only way we can love each other better.
