You are not anointed to remain ordinary. You are anointed to make a difference, break yokes, and manifest the power of God! Isaiah 10:27 — The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. YOU ARE ANOINTED FOR A PURPOSE!

Dr. T.L. Osborn first came to Uganda in 1961 for a major gospel crusade. Large crowds gathered. The blind received sight, the lame walked, and thousands gave their lives to Jesus Christ. The power of God was evident across the nation. Then came a dark period. In 1971, Idi Amin took power. His eight-year rule was one of the most brutal in Uganda's history. Churches were restricted, Pentecostal meetings were banned, and fear spread throughout the country. Many believers suffered, and the preaching of the gospel was silenced in many places. It seemed as though the fire of revival had been put out. But God's work in Uganda was not over. After Amin was overthrown in 1979, the country was left broken spiritually, economically, and emotionally. In February 1985, Dr. T.L. Osborn returned and held a huge crusade at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala. Crowds came in large numbers. Again, miracles happened. The sick were healed, demons were cast out, and thousands found salvation and hope. During that crusade, something remarkable took place. Dr. Osborn took off a special gown he had worn for 35 years in ministry and placed it on his young interpreter, Pastor Robert Kayanja, telling him, "Go and preach the gospel." That moment was a turning point. It sparked a new generation of Ugandan preachers. The fire that Amin's regime had tried to put out began to burn again, even stronger. Dr. Osborn came back again in 1991 to continue preaching the gospel. Today, Uganda's Pentecostal and charismatic churches are proof that no dictator, no ban, and no darkness can stop the growth of God's Kingdom. This is not just a story about a preacher and a dictator. It is about a faithful servant of Jesus returning to a hurting nation with the healing message of the gospel and seeing God restore what the enemy had tried to destroy.
