Marco Rubio: "For years to come, there are many people on the right...that are going to be having to explain and justify how they fell into this trap of supporting Donald Trump because this is not going to end well.” (2016)

Election collapse for Republicans means these GOP pieces of legislation will die: 1) Add Trump image to Mt. Rushmore 2) Rename Dulles airport for Trump 3) Declare Trump's birthday a holiday 4) Mint $250 bill w/ Trump image 5) Order NIH to study "Trump Derangement Syndrome"

Listen clown, if you’re going g to trot out this “Never Trump” reichslop (when I voted for him each time) you better mention the valedictorian of Never Trump who verbatim called Trump “Hitler” and said he’d vote Hillary in 2016: Vance.
Beyond delusional. Another example of a Never Trumper who hated his America First platform that got him elected, then applauded when he reverted back to the highly unpopular neocon republican policies. Boomer neocons like this will never be able to win elections again, but they can help lose them. Dana shares Trump’s legacy of turning Texas blue.

Texas has voter ID. It purged voter rolls prior to this election. You cannot vote in Texas, or even register, without ID. Texas turned blue. It’s real. The numbers don’t lie. Republicans crossed the aisle, not to vote -for- democrats, but to vote against maga. They also lost the independents at about 63%. This doesn’t even broach the topic of actual historic voter turn out since the 70’s. 51% of the state’s registered voters turned out. Over 1 million vote differences between the races. The GOP also lost the Latino vote. More young voters turned out for Talarico than seniors did for Paxton. So no, there wasn’t voter fraud or rigged elections, this economy is so bad that people voted for their wallets. We don’t want a war in Iran. We don’t want to be Israel’s defender. We don’t want imported Argentinian beef and tariff wars with China. We literally just got over covid and Trump launched us into another GWOT for the same reason. Either the GOP learns from these very clearly made mistakes or it will continue to lose. Trump’s pick for RNC chair says they won’t learn.

Yeah, because so much amazing shit happened when the GOP held the House and Senate. Golden Age, my ass.

Some facts at the time of this election: Republicans control county offices in probably 235 of these counties Republicans controlled the Secretary of State office Republicans controlled OAG (which can investigate voter fraud) Maybe the GOP got its ass kicked like it did everywhere? Especially the weakest candidate in the country — Ken Paxton.
What are the chances of nearly every single county going more democrat in a state trump won by 14 points?

No, a 'tasteless smear' is using Kirk's death as a prop to defame people you don't like, who weren't even talking about him.
Yes, it's a tasteless smear to mock TPUSA for supposedly being ineffective a year after their leader was assassinated by a deranged leftist—especially given the fact that Trump lost the midterms because of a regime-change war that Charlie Kirk opposed.

The hilarious part is... The GOP debacle would've been worse. If everyone had listened to Trump.
South Carolina and Indiana Republicans drew 7-0 and 9-0 maps that never passed. In 2026, both would have backfired SC: 4R-3D on the House vote vs 5R-2D on the current map IN: Bayh (D) carried all 9 proposed districts for SoS. Dems won 3 seats on the current map @DecisionDeskHQ

Mississippi undermines every stupid MAGA argument about why they lost. - Not a huge immigrant population. - Not a lot of liberal transfers from other states. - Not a lot of big outside money. MAGA got their ass kicked because they are MAGA.

Since it happened, I think the odds are pretty good. Also, I think the odds that the Democrats successfully rigged an election in a state run by Republicans for decades — without anyone noticing —seems kind of unlikely.
What are the chances of nearly every single county going more democrat in a state trump won by 14 points?
