The breadth posts are back.
These are my comments over the last 3.5 years about it.
Not going to assume something different is going to happen, the market has to prove to me something different is happening:

This is the lesson from Mark Douglas that had the biggest impact for me

Honestly feels better than bagging a month maker in my account.
Congrats to Dylan for taking the risk and coming out on top.

When I was 13 years old, I told my dad I wanted to become a Major League Baseball player.
He looked at me and said,
"You can... but we need a plan."
So we sat down and made one.
First, we created the big vision.
Play in the Major Leagues.
Then we worked backwards.
We made a one-year plan.
At the time, I wanted to make a better travel team and play in bigger tournaments.
Then we made a season plan.
Then a monthly plan.
Then a weekly plan.
Then a daily plan.
Some days it was:
- 50 swings to left-center.
- 50 swings up the middle.
- 50 swings to right-center.
Other days it was:
- Dry swings.
- Push-ups.
- Sit-ups.
- Sprints.
- Up-downs.
Every week, we'd sit back down together.
We'd look at the plan.
Keep what was working.
Change what wasn't.
We repeated that process for years.
Eventually...
I played in the Major Leagues.
Because here's one thing I learned from my dad:
Dreams don't become reality because you have a vision.
They become reality because you have a plan.
Most players have goals.
Very few have a system for reaching them.

Humans are wired to dislike uncertainty. But in trading, that is a liability.
You must become truly comfortable accepting the unknown in order to thrive.
You can be certain in your process, you can be certain in your risk management, but you can never be certain in the outcome.

Buyers defended support but failed to break to new highs for the first time in 7 weeks. Are sellers setting up a rug pull or is this consolidation healthy?

Sellers didn't defend the ATH structure allowing buyers to create ample space for higher lows. What levels do buyers need to hold to stay confident and where should they be interested in buying higher lows?

Ignore the noise and focus on the signal.
This is a great economy for goods consumption and we are finally starting to see industrial demand strengthen.
If the oil shock were going to impact goods demand, it would have shown up in the freight data already, as it is hyper sensitive to short-term demand shocks.
The opposite is happening.

Fair enough, thanks.
For me I dont feel a macro top will be this clear and obvious with all of twitter retail seeing it as it happens within a few % from highs. I feel the more likely path for a market to take for a macro top would be stopping out all the confident bears one more time before a macro top.
One day at a time!
