I cannot even recall a regular season home game like this in my 20 years covering the program. Been losses to UM sure, close losses here and there (not many) this is a complete unmasking.

Did you know that the subject of "Hang on Sloopy" is a Steubenville, Ohio girl named Dorothy 'Dottie' Sloop, a jazz artist who performed in the quartet Southland Rhythm Girls? Did you also know that it was a Dayton, Ohio band called The McCoy's who made the song famous?
After seeing her perform at the band's club in New Orleans, "Twist & Shout" song-writer Bert Russell Berns was inspired enough by Dottie to write the iconic song, which was originally entitled "My Girl Sloopy" and performed by The Vibrations, who took it to No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1964.
The song was soon rerecorded by the McCoys as a rock song entitled "Hang on Sloopy." That version Hit No. 1 in 1965, and was first played by @TBDBITL a week after it hit No. 1, and has been played at the end of the third quarter now for more than 60 years.
Ohio is the only state in the union to have an official rock song: "Hang on Sloopy."

A program loss for Ohio State. They had two weeks to prepare and the most composed person on the team is the freshman QB who’s supposed to be the liability. Just an absolute meltdown around him.

Ryan Day isn’t the same coach he was as OC under Urban Meyer or early in his head coaching tenure. He’s become extremely conservative and overly reliant on NFL concepts.
Pairing that with Arthur Smith leaves a lack of creativity and urgency on offense.
Ohio State has had only one OC under Day that people would consider a rockstar playcaller: Chip Kelly. He pushed the boundaries.
At a place like Ohio State with more talent and resources than 99% of the teams it faces, being overly conservative doesn’t mesh. They don’t force opponents to play on their terms despite those advantages.
This program is one Nick Marsh footstep away from being 5-5 over its last 10 games, with Iowa as the signature win.

Has anybody definitively answered what’s going on with Tavien St. Clair at Ohio State? Like is there a predominant message board explanation?

"I guess [LeBron James] got six or seven championships then. Oh, he doesn't. ... I ain't got nothing but respect for LeBron, but don't sit up there and tell me he got four Hall of Fame careers. If he gonna stack his team like that, he should have more than four championships."

Lake Erie is angry today my friends. Like an old man, trying to send back soup at a deli.
