A year ago today I told death “Not Today!” and was taken off the ECMO machine. For those that aren’t familiar with this machine. It is what a lot call the last shot or last chance. It’s a machine that basically lives for you and is why it is so rarely used.

Wow, what a difference a year can make. I am blessed and thankful to be alive, healing every day, getting stronger every day, and making choices to live a healthier longer life. I will forever be eternally grateful for every single one of you that prayed for me. Cheers to a year!

I officially have covid and am being admitted to the hospital. Prayers are welcomed.

Am I wearing a mask again even though I’m vaccinated? SURE AM. Why? Because I know way too many people personally who have been vaccinated and caught Covid. I would rather wear a mask than have this covering my face ever again. This is the reality of what Covid can do. #MaskUp

Today is one year since the first day I felt Covid symptoms. I was reminded how lucky I am to still be alive. We know a family who’s 31 yr old eight month pregnant daughter passed away today due to Covid. Luckily the baby was saved, but it shows that life is not a promised.
