With or without vaccine passports people are not dining out like they used too. Removing them will be detrimental to the restaurant industry. Less people will be dining out. Before any of you start with “bUt DIdn’T you see HOw bUSy the rEsTAuranTs were?!?!?”
While it may seem like restaurants and bars are BOOMING when you drive by on a Friday night, you are not taking into account what happens Sunday to Thursday. This is when a restaurant needs to have butts in the seats in order to be successful
There will always be a group of weekend warriors out on the weekend packing the bars and restaurants but until the general public feels comfortable eating out dining out will never reach pre COVID levels.
