People who talk on speaker in public, particularly on public transit, should be jailed. Same goes for people that blast their music or Instagram reels on the train. You have an $1100 iPhone. Buy some headphones.

Did some digging on this with @hockeyinfo19: Since Sullivan took over #NYR: Without Adam Fox: 8-16-3 Without Igor Shesterkin: 13-24-3 Without both: 2-13-1 Now, when Fox and Shesterkin are healthy: With Fox: 33-29-7 With Shesterkin: 28-21-7 I know injuries are a part of the game, but can’t ignore the challenges he’s had with this roster.
When the Rangers are performing poorly, I know the majority of folks immediately put the blame on Drury, and I get it, but, at some point, we need to talk about Mike Sullivan and his coaching philosophy. Sullivan is 41-45-10 as the head coach. #NYR

#NYR have not won a game this season when surrendering the first goal, they're 0-5-1 when that happens.

I asked Mike Sullivan why he flipped Durzi and Schneider: “It was an accumulation of a lot of events over time. We felt as a coaching staff…for the first 7-8 games, [Pettersson and Durzi] were a solid pair for us. They get hard minutes, they get all the D-zone starts against the top players. I think the last 5-6 [games], it’s been a little bit of a struggle for them. For whatever reason. Durzi is battling through some stuff physically. I’m sure that might be part of it. We just felt to affect a little bit of change, maybe we’ll split the pair and see what we get. It wasn’t a reaction to the game tonight. It was an accumulation of events over the last 4-5 games.” #NYR

I asked Braden Schneider about the team’s defensive lapses the last three games: “I think we’ve given up the guts of the ice more than we wanted to. I think we’re giving up some pretty scary chances early, and I think if we can clean that up and defend the middle of the ice better, I think we’ll have a better chance to come out and start better.” #NYR

Goal called back. 5-1 LA. Maybe that reminds #NYR they’re playing right now…
LA scores again. #NYR down 6-1. Rangers are challenging for goalie interference, but the team on the ice has completely given up. No pushback, and there’s still have the game left to play.
