Both our A&Es have had a busy night - although Cheltenham provides a nurse-led service at night from 8pm to 8am, it is still very much an open department and there are patients in majors this morning. We expect a big surge here at Cheltenham after 8am today #AandELive

Just clarifying rumours that there are plans to close Cheltenham A&E at night due to lack of use. This is categorically untrue. Cheltenham A&E is open at night as a specialist nurse-led service and it has been successfully running this way for six years.
