CAPCOM has confirmed a major data breach affecting more than 11.7 million CAPCOM ID accounts worldwide. The leaked data includes: -Email addresses -IP addresses -Account activity -Account creation and login information In 43 cases, additional personal details were exposed, including dates of birth, gender, country/region and nicknames. CAPCOM also found that 196 accounts had their passwords changed by someone else. The good news is that CAPCOM says passwords themselves were not leaked, and no credit card information was affected.

After weeks of increasingly sophisticated and relentless attacks against us and several of our trusted partners, we made the decision to go dark while we complete a full security audit and harden our systems.
