With the Bring Chicago Home Tax & Brandon Johnson's push to build more affordable housing, someone is going to get multi-million dollar contracts. This story has to do with that money.
Back in November and then a follow up in January, Tim Novak & Robert Herguth had a story on campaign contributions Mayor Brandon Johnson received. Who they mentioned is just as interesting as who they left out and its some super clouted people. In fact, they owned the freaking Chicago Sun-Times until last year.

Please RT this and message the Chicago Board of Ethics & Chicago Inspector General.
City contractors are restricted to only contributing $1500 in a calendar year. There are $20,000 in contribution from 4 individuals connected to Black Dog Corporation. Black Dog has an $8 Million contract with the Water Department.
That is $14,000 in illegal campaign contributions that need to be returned and the Mayor should be fined.

I am in a hot tub in Hawaii with peeps from Illinois and California. I explained we had a huge property tax reduction. They were incredulous. I explained we had a 32 billion dollar surplus this biennium. They responded with conspiracy theories and the grid. 🙄
