Today marks one week until Election Day! Some of you have already voted. Others are still making up your minds. And I suspect a few of you are so fed up with politics that you'd rather not hear another word about it! Believe me, I understand. We aren't all going to agree on what's best for our counties, Illinois, or this country. We're not supposed to agree on everything! But I worry that all the anger, the political extremes, and the constant fighting have convinced some good people that we're too far gone and their vote won't make a difference. Please don't believe that. Your vote matters! Your voice matters! And our country is worth caring about, even when we're frustrated with it. You don't have to agree with me or anyone else on the ballot. I just hope you'll take the time to make your voice heard. If you've already voted, thank you. If you haven't, you've still got time! November 3 is one week away. Do your civic duty and VOTE!🇺🇸

Wow that’s great news Marsha! Clearly in-state tuition should be reserved for American citizens, and more specifically for Illinois citizens.
A federal judge just ruled Illinois can no longer give foreign students in-state college tuition rates. See this documentary I participated in about the massive influx of foreign students at Illinois public colleges taking up coveted spots.

DeSantis signed his 8th budget having cut $10 billion in spending in his last 4 years, giving back $9b to taxpayers, having the highest credit rating in US (IL has lowest), and signing a budget that spends less than yours even though FL population is nearly twice IL. – at Wheaton, IL
After years of GOP dysfunction, I took office and rebuilt Illinois. 8 balanced budgets. 12 credit upgrades. Bills backlog cleared. $2B+ Rainy Day Fund.

Darren Bailey delivering his closing message in Springfield on a statewide tour. His main message is that he needs voters to show up: “The key to winning this election is voter turnout. We learned that the hard way four years ago.”

I will put this out to the mayoral candidates @Giannoulias @susanamendoza10 @brewer4chicago @RepMikeQuigley @themariapappas @DrWillieWilson @ChicagosMayor What's your plan to reverse the 27% vacancy rate downtown ? What business would you attract to reverse the decline?
The Mayoral Campaigns need to address this directly.

Members of the Chicago Teachers Union suggest that “the United States government must fall,” adding that all who agree must be “willing to kill and to be killed.” This is reminiscent of the scene in the movie *I Am Legend* in which the zombies stop fearing the sunlight.
Exclusive. I just infiltrated and recorded a call hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union in the United States with leftist students activists and the teachers helping them in France. The teachers in the USA are actively coordinating with the unions in France. And they're calling explicitly for the fall of the United States government. This is the full, unedited recording of the call, so no one can accuse me of taking things out of context. I will release clips separately. These are the things @RealAlexJones will never show you, because they didn't mention working with Muslims (they actually made fun of that idea a few times). The truth matters. Here are the primary source receipts.

In my days on CPD someone would be on the hot seat over a spree like this.
Molly’s Cupcakes in Lincoln Park, Chicago got hit for the fifth time in 20 years. Last night a crew in a white vehicle smashed into at least 13 businesses along Clark Street around 4 a.m. They yanked cash registers and busted windows and doors with crowbars and sledgehammers before driving off. No one is in custody. Ald. Timmy Knudsen called it senseless and said CPD is running special attention and burglary missions. Same line he uses for car thefts and armed robberies. At least Molly’s still has a sense of humor: “I guess they really wanted some cupcakes!!” How are these small retailers supposed to survive?

There is great fire here and it is shared by many. However, my only criticism would for @DanProft to mention by name the problematic individual(s). Many in Illinois blame the @ILGOP as if it is some magical either that has endless power, money, and people one ground, yet does nothing with it. I would argue the blame for most of our problems are in our own mirror. "The ILGOP needs to (X)." - Republicans of Illinois "Yes, we do, but I don't see you doing it with me." - Truth The state may seem big to the individual, but you can get involved in the county, township, or just your own street. A (winning) majority will instead sit at home and whine about how someone else needs to do what they themselves aren't. When we aren't all active in maintaining this great nation that we are heirs to, we don't get to complain if/how/when it falls. Use your fire, or watch it go out. 🎇🇺🇸🎆 You retain the republic you're willing to sacrifice for. ⏰Get up (stop just sharing posts). 🗳️Get involved (volunteer, knock doors, donate, become a precinct committeeman, election judge, run for boards, higher office, etc.). ⚔️Fight to #MakeIllinoisGreatAgain! God bless. #Illinois #Vote #GOP
The Illinois GOP never wants to have the debate about why the party is a failure. The time to have the debate is now.

This....right here....exactly!
Many in the publishing industry blame capitalism for declining readership while top publishers churn out increasingly conformist books. The real threat to our literary culture is gatekeepers deciding which ideas deserve an audience. Ideological filtering shuts out the voices needed to revitalize the industry. dailywire.com/news/the-anti-…

Mayor Brandon Johnson’s con game continues into its fourth budget.   If Mayor Johnson’s budget is approved, it means his tax and fee increases in office amount to $1.3 billion while his school board has raised property taxes another $857 million.   The burden imposed by Johnson’s tax and fee increases are not on rich corporations, billionaires and millionaires as he claims. It falls on city residents, regardless of income, and on city businesses of all sizes regardless of their income or profits.    Even his so-called progressive spending agenda side is a shell game.    Despite all his big promises, the Mayor has only reopened 3 mental health centers, built only 500 affordable housing units, has barely returned the summer jobs program to pre-COVID levels and his vaunted mental health initiatives has seen a 70% drop in the number of responses. The Mayor’s big con game continues!

Why are we not surprised....
NEW: Multiple federal law enforcement sources tell @FoxNews that the man who was shot and killed by an off-duty FBI agent in Chicago last night was a Venezuelan illegal alien who was seen shooting into a homeless encampment. Per sources, the FBI agent was driving alone when he saw 27-year-old OSCAR D. CORRALES shooting at people in the encampment, and the agent stopped and shot CORRALES, killing him. Fox is told CORRALES was previously caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration in October 2023, and he has a previous arrest in California in which he was released from custody with an ICE detainer ignored. nbcchicago.com/news/local/ou…

Ironically so far, and perhaps equally as troubling, no Democrat leadership or media have called him out on it! That’s it, that’s my statement Carry on, Have a great day❗️

“It's a matter of priorities.” That was Lt. Governor Stratton's answer when asked how she'd PAY for Medicare for All and what it would mean for middle-class taxes. But that's not a price tag. And it's certainly not a tax plan! So let's try the question again: How much will it cost, and who's going to pay for it?

The Chicago Teachers Union is suing critics over satirical memes about “cooking the books” on member dues. The court filing calls it a transparent attempt to censor critics and a violation of free speech. Liberty Justice Center is already appealing a ruling that let CTU get away with summaries instead of full audits, and on October 26 moved to dismiss the defamation suit. New federal filings show less than 19% of CTU spending went to representing teachers, with nearly $2.6 million on politics and raises for leadership. While Chicago fights over Johnson’s tax-heavy budget that sends hundreds of millions to CPS, the union that helped put him in office is busy suing critics of its own books. Free speech is only free when it agrees with the CTU. Source: @LegalNewsline
