🚨 Cristiano Ronaldo’s Heartfelt Message to Lionel Messi After the Passing of Jorge Messi: 🗣“I felt truly heartbroken when I heard the news about the passing of Messi’s father, Jorge Messi. It hit me hard. First and foremost, may his gentle soul rest in peace. After the initial shock, the first thing I did was call Leo. I told him that I understand exactly how it feels to lose someone so special especially your dad. I reminded him that he has to stay strong, to keep his head high. I know this is one of the lowest points anyone can face, but he needs to find the strength not only for himself, but for his family who need him now more than ever. Behind closed doors, Leo and I have shared many meaningful moments over the years. He’s one of the people I consider a true friend in this world of football. Because of that, I can feel the pain he’s going through right now. No rivalry, no competition just two men who respect each other, and one of them is hurting. My thoughts and support are fully with Leo, his mother Celia, and the entire Messi family during this difficult time.”

🚨 David Beckham: “Are we actually number one right now? No.” “We’re not where we want to be at the moment. Yes, we may want better. It’s not going to be easy, but we surely want the noise to go away and for a decision to be made for the club, the fans, and the players. And yes, also for Carrick, the manager. Because we’re one of, if not the biggest club in the world. We demand stability, which I consider the most crucial thing in the situation we find ourselves in. We have our favourites on who we feel should run the club and who we want gone. Importantly, who will take the club back to where we belong. In my eyes and the fans’, we remain number one. But are we actually number one right now? No. In fact, we are far from being regarded as that anytime soon. The consequences of the current situation are not limited to our ability to sign players. But the Glazers. They treasure profit over the club’s future, if you ask me. Sir Jim owns just about 25 percent of the club and handles sporting activities. Well, I think we can all see that he has done nothing right or important enough. There are conversations about the future of the coach, but I am more interested in the entirety of the club ownership. This may come to many as speculation, but in truth, most executive decisions are being taken. Are the Glazers among those making those decisions? Not at all. We want something new and a good dynamic. And I’ve seen how this works. I co-own Inter Miami. And yes, that should tell you that I am positive about Manchester United. I will take note of everything first. But do I in the future intend to buy the club? It’s something I would cherish. Yes, I’ll buy the club when it is finally up for sale. In the meantime, we need stability here. Clear definition of what the club wants this season. Win something, or just make the Glazers rich?”

🚨 José Mourinho on Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or: 🎙️ “The Ballon d’Or ceremony moves to London, and suddenly, Harry Kane walks away with the award. What a coincidence, isn’t it? I have been in football long enough to know that sometimes, the story surrounding an award can be just as important as what happens on the pitch. You can talk about statistics, individual performances and trophies, but when you look at how everything has unfolded, you cannot help but raise a few questions. Of course, Harry Kane is a fantastic striker, and nobody can deny his quality. But the timing of this ceremony and the eventual winner makes you wonder whether everything was perfectly arranged for this moment. Perhaps it is all a coincidence. Perhaps not. But you have to admit, it is a beautiful story. The ceremony comes to London, an English player wins the biggest individual award in football, and everyone gets to celebrate. Sometimes, you look at football and wonder whether the script was written long before the show even began.”

🚨Karim Benzema on Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or: 🗣️ “Well deserved, Harry Kane. He has worked incredibly hard to reach this level, and nobody can deny the quality he has shown. People may have different opinions, but you cannot take away what he has achieved this season. His goals, consistency, and contribution to his team have been outstanding. Winning the Ballon d’Or is a dream for every footballer, and Kane deserves to enjoy this moment. I know some people will argue that Kylian Mbappé should have won it, and I understand why. Mbappé has been phenomenal, but individual awards always come with difficult decisions. At the end of the day, someone has to win, and this time, Harry Kane has come out on top. Congratulations to him. He should be proud of what he has accomplished because winning an award of this magnitude is never easy.”

🚨 Pep Guardiola on Harry Kane Winning the Ballon d’Or: 🗣️ Harry Kane! I’m surprised this time from the French board… very surprised. Do you know why? The decisions always get me surprised. Sometimes it looks real, sometimes it doesn’t. It wasn’t biased and it wasn’t rigged - permit me to say that (laughs). But what I’m saying is that it was a fair decision for Harry Kane to win. I have seen his performance. He has put everything in. The numbers? Incredible. But do you know what will happen in the next one? Erling Haaland will be among the top contenders, because he will definitely surpass those numbers. And he loves to be challenged.

🚨 Harry Kane: “It wasn’t an easy ride. We stuck together.” “It was just a burst of gratitude. So finally, discipline, consistency and hard work paid off? Wow. Amazing. I quickly pulled out my phone and shared the moment with the world, the fans, and everyone who couldn’t be here. That moment was amazing and I just wanted to share it. For so many years, the idea has been to keep going forward no matter how long it takes. Just keep going. Winning this award will always be special to me. Because I went a long time working hard and winning nothing. Those years of jokes are now nothing but comedy material. Now I’m not just a league champion, but the best in my trade. It’s awesome. I love it. And I dare not say it was an easy ride. No, it wasn’t. I had to walk in the cold with my teammates. They’re the MVPs. It’s an honour for all of us. We’ve done well. Exactly how did we do it? By sticking together.”

🚨 Karim Benzema believes Kylian Mbappé deserves to win the Ballon d’Or: 🗣️ “Honestly, I don't see any player who deserves the Ballon d'Or more than Kylian Mbappé. Just give him the award. I don't understand why people are making it so complicated. Look at his performances, his goals, and the responsibility he carries for his team. He has shown time and time again that he can deliver when the pressure is at its highest. People can have their own opinions, but you cannot ignore what he has done this season. For me, Mbappé has everything it takes to be the best player in the world. If you ask me, there is no debate. He deserves it more than anyone else. Sometimes, we overcomplicate football when the answer is right in front of us. Just give Kylian Mbappé the Ballon d'Or and let him enjoy his moment.”

🚨 Son Heung-min’s Heartfelt Message to Harry Kane After Ballon d’Or Glory: "Harry has always been a fantastic player, right from the days we played together at Tottenham. I truly love his style of play the way he moves, the intelligence, the finishing, everything about him. I remember telling him back then, “Look, I know we haven’t won a big trophy here at Tottenham yet, but don’t ever doubt yourself. One day the whole world will celebrate you.” And look at him now… Ballon d’Or winner. What an incredible moment. I’m so happy for him. He has proven to the world, time and time again, that he is simply the best striker in his position. No one deserves this more than Harry. Congratulations, my friend. You did it. "

🚨 Son Heung-min on His Partnership With Harry Kane back at Tottenham: 🗣️ Whenever people talk about Harry Kane and me, they talk about the numbers. Forty-seven goal combinations in the Premier League. The most prolific partnership in the history of the competition. And yes, those numbers are incredible. But for me, what we had at Tottenham was much more than statistics. It was trust, understanding, friendship and two players who genuinely enjoyed playing together. People saw me running behind the defenders and scoring goals, but they didn't always see the intelligence behind those moments. Harry could be playing as a striker, and suddenly he would drop into midfield. He would receive the ball, turn, and before I even made my run, he already knew where I wanted the pass. Sometimes, I didn't even need to look at him. I just had to run. That was our connection. He understood my speed, movement, the spaces I wanted to attack. And I understood his game. When he dropped deep, I knew exactly what he was trying to create. It was not just about him assisting me. I assisted him too. We both scored, created chances, helped Tottenham become a team that could compete against the biggest clubs in England and Europe. The 2020/21 season was something special. We assisted each other for 14 Premier League goals in one season. That was a record at the time, and it showed how much we understood each other. I will never forget the game against Southampton. Harry assisted me four times in one match! (laughs) I scored four goals, and people were talking about my finishing, but I was thinking about the passes. The timing, weight of the ball, the way he found me in space. It was unbelievable. That season, Harry won the Golden Boot with 23 goals and the Playmaker award with 14 assists. I scored 17 league goals. We were both having an incredible season, but the most important thing was that we were doing it together. We had so many special moments. The goals against Arsenal, the goals against Manchester City, the counter-attacks, the celebrations. Every time we played together, there was this feeling that something could happen. And that is what made our partnership so dangerous. But Harry was never just a goalscorer. People sometimes forget how complete he is. He can score with both feet, he is excellent in the air, he can hold the ball, he can create chances, and he understands the game like a midfielder. He can play as a number nine, a number ten, or even drop deeper and control the game. He sees things before other players see them. When I played alongside him, I understood just how intelligent he was. He was always thinking about the next pass, the next movement, the next opportunity. And away from football, he was the same person. Humble, professional, and always willing to help his teammates. When he left Tottenham for Bayern Munich, of course, I was sad. We had spent so many years together. But I was also happy for him because I knew he deserved to experience something different and continue winning trophies. Our friendship didn't end when we stopped playing together. We still have that respect, and whenever we see each other, it feels like nothing has changed. And now, when I see Harry winning the biggest individual award in football, I feel proud. For me, he deserves the Ballon d’Or. Not just because of the goals he scores, but because of the complete footballer he has become. His consistency, intelligence, leadership, and the way he makes everyone around him better. I played with him for many years. I know what he brings to a team. I know the sacrifices, how much he has worked to reach this level. People can debate individual awards, but nobody can question his quality. Harry Kane is one of the best players I have ever played with. And if there is one person who deserves to stand on that stage and hear his name called, it is my brother, Harry. Congratulations, Harry. You deserve every bit of this.”

Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't even nominated, and this is who you compare to the greatest footballer of all time? 😭😭 Lionel Messi is in a league of his own. 🐐
Messi lost the Ballon D'or to a former player of an almost relegated Tottenham. This is who you people compare with Ronaldo? Someone who can't even compete with Harry Kane? 😭

🚨 Iker Casillas questions Yamal finishing third in the Ballon d’Or: 🎙️ “Honestly, when you look at the season Yamal has had, you have to ask yourself what more he could have done to finish higher. For me, the Ballon d’Or is about individual performances, consistency, and what a player brings to his team. Of course, trophies matter, but they cannot be the only thing that determines who wins the award. We have seen that in football before. What I find difficult to understand is how a player who has performed at such a high level, made such a difference in important games, and contributed so much to his team’s success ends up in third place. Yamal has shown incredible maturity for his age. He doesn’t play like someone who is still learning the game; he takes responsibility, makes things happen, and has become one of the most influential players in his team. That deserves serious recognition. You could also see the disappointment on his face when the winner was announced. I think he genuinely believed he had done enough to win, and given the season he had, I can understand why. I’m not taking anything away from the winner because winning the Ballon d’Or is never easy, and every player on that shortlist has their own merits. But when you look at Yamal’s performances, his influence, and what he achieved throughout the season, it’s fair to question why he finished third. For a player so young to already be competing at this level is extraordinary. He has a long career ahead of him, but that shouldn’t mean we overlook what he has already accomplished. In my opinion, he had every reason to believe he could win this award.”

🚨 Zidane’s take Kane earned it, but Olise was robbed by this Ballon d’Or ranking: "Yes, Harry Kane fully deserves the Ballon d’Or. Huge congratulations to him no debate there. He had an outstanding season and the award is justified. But looking at the rest of the top 10… what exactly are Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi doing above Michael Olise? They put Olise in 9th place. That, for me, is a much bigger fraud than anything else on the list. It’s unacceptable. Olise was clearly robbed in this ranking. The way they arranged it is a disaster at the highest level no doubt about it."

🚨 Harry Kane on winning the Ballon d’Or ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal: “They were campaigning for the Ballon d’Or while I was quiet. I didn’t need to convince anybody. Now look who’s talking.” (laughs) “Mbappé was the one I feared the least. I respect him, but Real Madrid went trophyless. Tell me honestly, how was he supposed to win the Ballon d’Or after a season like that? “And Yamal? He’s an incredible talent, but people were already giving him the award before everything was settled. His World Cup performances were terrible, and you cannot ignore that when judging a player for an individual award. “I kept my head down, focused on my football and let them talk. They had the headlines, the campaigns and the predictions. I had my performances. Now I have the Ballon d’Or, and they have to watch me lift it.”

🚨 José Mourinho on Harry Kane Winning the Ballon d’Or Over Kylian Mbappé: 🗣️ I don’t know… who else was really contesting with them? There should be no one. Yes, no one. Both had outstanding seasons. Harry Kane is my boy from the Tottenham days. And Kylian Mbappé? He is here with us in Madrid now. Choosing between the two is a tough decision, but we coaches know the real measures. If I was the judge, Kylian Mbappé wins the Ballon d’Or. And the next one will also go to him, because he is just getting started. He deserves it for everything he has done for France and for Real Madrid. Harry Kane also did very well, and I can say he was lucky to win it this time. Because Kylian is no longer giving anyone space. His time is now. The ceremony is over, and it will not affect our performance. When he comes back, I will give him my own award. He really deserves to be recognised. For me, he is the best player in the world right now.

🚨 Thomas Muller on Harry Kane winning the 2026 Ballon d’Or: “I’m very happy for Harry. Really, really happy. I remember when he first arrived at Bayern. Everybody knew what kind of striker he was, but there was always this conversation about him not winning trophies. And I found that quite strange. You’d watch him score 30 goals, 40 goals, carry his team through difficult matches, and afterwards somebody would still ask why he hadn’t won anything. At some point, I started wondering whether people expected him to score the goals and then go upstairs to the club offices and organise the trophy presentations himself. I remember one afternoon at Sabener Strabe, we were sitting together after training. Somebody had made another joke about his time at Tottenham. Harry smiled, as he usually does. I asked him, ‘Does it ever annoy you?’ He said, ‘What?’ I said, ‘All the jokes. People talking about your career as though you haven’t achieved anything.’ He was quiet for a moment. Then he said, ‘Of course it does. But what am I supposed to do? Stop scoring because they’re laughing?’ I liked that answer. Because that’s Harry. He’s not somebody who needs to tell the whole world how good he is. He comes to training, does his work, scores his goals and goes home to his family. And I think people sometimes mistake that for a lack of ambition. Believe me, Harry is very ambitious. I’ve seen him become frustrated after scoring twice because he missed another chance. I’ve seen him stay angry about a result long after everybody else had started talking about the next match. He wants to win. There was another day when we were talking about his career, and I told him, ‘Harry, when you finally win something, I hope you don’t become unbearable.’ He laughed and said, ‘You don’t have to worry about that.’ I said, ‘Good. Because some of us have won quite a few things, and we’ve managed to remain very humble.’ He looked at me and started laughing again. But I remember those conversations because I know how much this means to him. People used to introduce Harry Kane as one of the greatest strikers never to win a major trophy. Now he’s a Ballon d’Or winner. Think about that. The same player. The same quality. The same dedication. The difference is that people can no longer use an empty trophy cabinet to dismiss everything he’s done on a football pitch. And I hope the young players watching understand something from his story. Sometimes your career doesn’t follow the order people expect. Sometimes you spend years doing everything you can and still go home disappointed. That doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Harry kept going. And now, when people look back at his career, they’ll see the goals, the records, the trophies and this beautiful individual award. I’ve sent him a message after the announcement. I said, ‘Congratulations, Harry. I think you can finally stop worrying about those Tottenham jokes.’ He’ll probably reply, ‘I’m not sure they’ll ever stop.’ :)) And you know what? He’s probably right. But I think he’ll find them a little easier to laugh at tonight.”

🚨 Jose Mourinho on Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or: “Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or is powerful proof that it’s never too late to achieve greatness in life. I am incredibly proud of him. He thoroughly deserves this award. At his age he has already achieved so much, done more than most, and truly merits every recognition that comes his way. There is no other player more deserving of this honour than Harry Kane. He was outstanding last season and has earned every bit of this success. I am genuinely happy for him.”

📣🎙🗣: Ronaldo Nanzario on Harry Kane's Balon d'or victory tonight. What a player, such a special talent of a striker, I'm actually not surprised cause he's proved himself over and over again, LAUGHS. Did it in England and then Germany, c'mon what more do you want. The Balon D'or looks good on him, he deserves it, for a striker winning it even though not the first, but makes me want to go back to the pitch, LAUGHS. Congratulations Harry, u deserve it.🔥

🚨 Harry Kane’s Emotional Speech after Winning the Ballon d’Or: 🗣️ First of all… I honestly don't know what to say. I'm speechless. To be standing here tonight, holding this award, is something I have dreamed about for so many years. Thank you to France Football, everyone who voted for me, and every single person around the world who has supported me from day one. To the fans in England, across Europe, in Africa, and everywhere else - you have been incredible. This moment belongs to you as much as it belongs to me. I want to thank Bayern Munich. I don't know if I would be standing here today without this club. From the moment I arrived, they believed in me, gave me the opportunity to compete at the highest level, and helped me become an even better player. To Vincent Kompany, my coach… I know you're in the hospital right now, and I wish you a very fast recovery. I wish you were here tonight to celebrate this moment with us. Thank you for believing in me and pushing me every day. To my England teammates, our coaching staff, and everyone who has been part of my journey with the national team - thank you. Representing my country has always been one of the greatest honours of my life. Your support means more than you know. And I cannot forget Tottenham Hotspur. That is where my journey began 11 years ago. That is where I grew, where I learned, where I made mistakes, and where I became the player I am today. To everyone at Tottenham who believed in a young boy with a dream, I will never forget you. To every coach who has worked with me, every teammate who has stood beside me, my family, and everyone who has sacrificed something to help me get here - thank you from the bottom of my heart. This award is not just about goals, assists, or trophies. It is about the people who believed in me when I was still trying to prove myself. Tonight, I am the happiest man in the world. Thank you so much. This means everything to me.”

🚨 José Mourinho: “I already told him. He just didn’t know yet.” On De la Fuente. “Before the announcement, I briefly met him while leaving Camp Nou. We chatted about the game. He was in light spirits. I joked and said, ‘You must be feeling good about tomorrow, Luis.’ He said, ‘Jose, you know these awards and the hype around them. I’m just happy to be going there tomorrow with the Spanish boys and the women too.’ Yes, it’s certainly an interesting experience every day to get recognition for the work we do. Do you agree? I quickly said I concur. We both laughed. We ended the conversation by saying good night. Before I walked a few steps further, I called him and said, ‘Congratulations on winning again, Luis.’ At first he didn’t catch on, but eventually he spoke. ‘Gracias. Boa noite.’ Now I’m sitting here watching the event. As soon as he was announced the winner, I looked up and saw him on his phone. I didn’t know exactly at first, but he was typing. Then my phone vibrated. Text message: ‘De la Fuente.’ ‘Thank you, Jose. I just got called out for the award! Amazing.’ I smiled and said to myself, that’s a well-deserved award. Look at his work with the Spanish national team. Exceptional. Despite losing the Nations League to Portugal, he still managed to beat Argentina to lift the World Cup. That alone is an enormous accomplishment. I enjoy watching his games. The tactics are sophisticated.”

🚨 Rio Ferdinand on Cubarsí missing out on the Best Young Player award at the Ballon d’Or ceremony: 🎙️“Honestly, I think Cubarsí deserved that award more than Yamal this year. I have no doubt Yamal will win it again, but when you look at what Cubarsí did, especially at the World Cup, you have to give him serious credit. He was outstanding defensively, conceded just once, and played a crucial role for Spain throughout the tournament. For a young defender to perform at that level on such a big stage is incredible. We talk a lot about goals, assists and attacking players, but defending at that level deserves recognition too. For me, Cubarsí did more than enough to win that award.”
