雅万高铁开通运营三周年，累计发送旅客超1800万人次 Warm congratulations on the third anniversary of the commercial operation of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (Whoosh)! Since its launch on October 17, 2023, Whoosh has successfully served 18 million passenger trips as of October 16, 2026. As Southeast Asia’s first high-speed railway, Whoosh has transformed travel between Jakarta and Bandung by providing a faster, safer, more comfortable, and more efficient travel experience. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of all those involved. May Whoosh continue to enhance regional connectivity, promote tourism and economic growth, and strengthen the friendship and cooperation between China and Indonesia.

In 1960, thousands of overseas Chinese returned to China and made a new home at the Shuangyang Overseas Chinese Farm in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. Today, just over 460 of the Indonesian returnees are still alive. This summer, teachers and students from Hefei University of Technology returned to Shuangyang for the third consecutive year. For three years, they have remained focused on one mission: restoring fragile family letters and preserving the memories of the returnees — before more of those memories are lost with time.

On economic and trade matters, President Xi said that cooperation is a two-way street. So long as both sides act in the spirit of equality, mutual respect, and mutual benefit, a pathway to resolving differences can always be found. It is hoped that the two sides will move in the same direction, namely adhering to mutual benefit and win-win results and promoting the stable development and improvement of China-U.S. economic and trade ties.

🇨🇳 President Xi Jinping stressed that the Chinese side’s position on safeguarding national reunification and territorial integrity is clear-cut.
