Recently, China issued a Progress Report on the AI Capacity-Building Action Plan for Good and for All. The report systematically reviews the cooperation outcomes, practical experience and specific cases since the Action Plan was launched two years ago.
It advocates push for deeper and more substantive international cooperation on AI. Full report:

Ambassador Yang introduced China’s achievements in promoting energy transition, participating and leading the global climate governance and the continuous deepening of South-South cooperation for addressing climate change.
He noted that over the 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and PNG, our political mutual trust has continued to strengthen, practical cooperation has expanded continuously, and friendship between the two peoples has grown deeper.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Marape expressed his sincere gratitude to China for its strong support to PNG under the framework of South-South cooperation, and highly commended China’s achievements in advancing energy transition and pursuing green development.
On Oct 25, H.E. Yang Xiaoguang, Chinese Ambassador to PNG visited Tari, Hela province to attend the handover ceremony of the Integrated Photovoltaic and Storage Project of the Low Carbon Demonstration Zone under South-South Cooperation for Addressing Climate Change.

October 12th, 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. To commemorate this occasion, a commemorative cover is specially issued.
