BIG | 🇺🇸🇸🇦🇮🇷‼️‼️ Saudi Arabia is urging President Donald Trump to delay a new military offensive against Iran, as Washington and Israel reportedly consider launching a massive bombing campaign after the US midterm elections if diplomatic efforts fail.
According to Axios, citing a US official, Saudi authorities have asked Trump to give regional mediators additional time to negotiate an agreement with Tehran. Qatar is leading the initiative, supported by Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey. One proposal would require Iran to restore UN inspections of its damaged nuclear facilities in exchange for limited sanctions relief and access to frozen Iranian funds. Meanwhile, American and Israeli officials reportedly believe a major bombing campaign could begin after the midterm elections if negotiations collapse. Trump told Axios that the confrontation must be resolved “either through a deal or another way.”
Saudi Arabia’s intervention reflects growing concerns among regional governments about the consequences of another major US-Iran war. A renewed military campaign could trigger Iranian retaliation against American bases, Gulf energy infrastructure, and strategic shipping routes. The proposed nuclear inspections could provide a starting point for diplomacy, but the possibility of a large-scale bombing campaign underscores the pressure surrounding negotiations. Washington is keeping military options available while regional powers attempt to prevent another escalation.

🇮🇷 🇺🇸 IRAN DOESN’T WANT THE NEXT WAR TO BE “LIMITED”
The dominant view in Tehran is that the next conflict with the U.S. must be so costly that no future American president would dare try again.
Iranian officials are openly talking about broader strikes on regional energy infrastructure, U.S. assets and potentially a prolonged war designed to impose maximum economic pain.
In other words: Washington may want a short war.
Tehran is preparing to make sure it doesn’t get one.

October 28, 1940. At three in the morning, the Italian ambassador wakes the Greek prime minister in his home and hands him an ultimatum: let Italian troops march into Greece and occupy it, or face war. The Greek leader, Metaxas, answers in a single phrase, and Greece's answer becomes a national legend. The country then does something almost no one expected: it not only fights, it wins, handing the Axis its first land defeat of the war.
Mussolini was behind it, and his motives were vanity as much as strategy. He was jealous of Hitler's string of conquests and wanted glories of his own, a parallel war to show that Italy was a great power in its own right. Greece looked like an easy victim. So in the small hours of the 28th, the Italian ambassador delivered an ultimatum demanding that Greece allow Italian forces to occupy strategic points across the country, in effect to surrender without a fight, with only a few hours to answer.
The Greek prime minister, Ioannis Metaxas, himself an authoritarian ruler, gave his reply. The popular memory is that he said simply "Ohi," "No," and that is the name the day carries, Oxi Day. What he actually said, in French, the language of diplomacy, was "Alors, c'est la guerre," "Then it is war." The meaning was the same. Greece would not submit. And when the news spread that morning, the Greek people poured into the streets, not in fear but in defiance, shouting that same word, "Ohi," No, embracing the war rather than the surrender.
Italian troops attacked that same day, pouring across the border from Italian-occupied Albania, expecting a quick walkover. They got a shock. The Greeks, fighting in their own rugged mountains, outnumbered and outgunned, not only held but counterattacked, and then they did the unthinkable. They drove the Italians back. They threw the invaders out of Greece and advanced into Albania, seizing a large chunk of it, humiliating Mussolini's army, which proved badly led and poorly supplied for a mountain winter war. Through the winter of 1940 into 1941, little Greece was beating a great fascist power in the field.
It was the first time any Axis land offensive had been defeated, a tremendous boost to Allied morale at a moment when Britain stood nearly alone and the news was almost all bad. The gallant Greeks became heroes across the free world, proof that the dictators were not invincible. Churchill is often quoted as saying that henceforth it would not be said that Greeks fight like heroes, but that heroes fight like Greeks.
But the defiance came at a terrible price, and it reshaped the war in ways that rippled outward. Mussolini's failure forced Hitler to come to his rescue. The Germans could not have the British using Greece as a base on their southern flank, and they could not leave Mussolini humiliated, so in the spring of 1941 Hitler invaded Greece and Yugoslavia with overwhelming force. The Germans overran Greece in a matter of weeks, and the country fell into a brutal occupation that brought famine and horror, and a fierce resistance.
And there is a famous, much-debated consequence. Hitler's intervention in the Balkans, forced in part by the Greek defiance and the need to secure his southern flank, is argued by many historians to have delayed the invasion of the Soviet Union by several crucial weeks, weeks that might have made the difference before the Russian winter stopped the Germans short of Moscow. If so, then the stubborn "No" of a small nation in October 1940 may have helped, in a roundabout way, to save Moscow and doom Hitler in the east. That is why some call Oxi Day a turning point of the whole war.
Whatever the truth of that argument, the 28th is a day Greeks still celebrate with fierce pride, the day their country said no to an empire and then beat its army in the mountains. It was defiance in its purest form, a small nation choosing war over submission, and winning, at least for a season, against the odds.

Now would be a good time to remind everyone of these Trump facts, because apparently some people still need the refresher.
Please meet the President of the United States:
Flew on Epstein’s plane at least seven times. Just friends, I guess.
Pleaded the Fifth more than 400 times in a single deposition. Nothing says “innocent” like refusing to answer a single question about your own business.
34 felony convictions. A record most people would call disqualifying. And 91 criminal charges.
Accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least 26 women. But sure, tell me again how he’s a great guy.
6 corporate bankruptcies. The self proclaimed greatest businessman alive somehow keeps running out of money.
5 draft deferments. Funny how the toughest guy in the room never actually showed up for duty. He said, "no thanks", when asked to serve his country. Speaking about McCain, Trump stated: "He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured."
4 criminal indictments. Not two. Not three. Four.
2 impeachments. A club of exactly one president.
2 of his own companies convicted of criminal tax fraud. Convicted. Not accused. Convicted.
During the 2016 presidential election, Trump’s campaign orchestrated a televised Iowa fundraiser meant for veterans but directed the foundation’s money to boost his political campaign. The charity was used to buy personal items, including a $10,000 portrait of Trump. The New York State Attorney General filed a lawsuit in 2018, regarding Donald J. Trump Foundation, alleging a "pattern of persistent illegality" and self-dealing. The investigation found that Trump used the charity as a personal "piggy bank."
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The Eric Trump Foundation Controversy: This investigation revealed that the charity raised money under the guise of FUNDING THE ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, but was allegedly charged over $1.2 million by the Trump Organization for using Trump-owned golf courses, shifting donor money meant for sick children back into Trump businesses.
1 fake university shut down. Trump's charities always involved cheating and grifting. HE AND HIS FAMILY ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO RUN A CHARITY IN NEW YORK He and his family are no longer allowed to run a charity in New York because the Trump Organization used the funds for Trump-owned golf courses, SHIFTING DONOR MONEY MEANT FOR SICK CHILDREN INTO TRUMP BUSINESSES. He was ordered to pay 2 million dollars for looting his own so called charity.
Paid 25 million dollars to settle the Trump University fraud lawsuit because scamming people who believed in you costs money eventually.
Ordered to pay 5 million dollars in the first E Jean Carroll sexual abuse verdict, then hit with 83.3 million more in the second. A jury said it twice so nobody could pretend it was a fluke.
First president in modern history to increase the deficit every single year of a full term. Fiscal responsibility, apparently, was always just a talking point.
Kept the debt to GDP ratio above 100 percent for his entire first term.
Presided over the largest single day point drop in Dow Jones history at the time. So much for the guy who claimed to be a genius with money.
Set the record for the longest government shutdown in US history in his first term at 35 days, then couldn’t resist beating his own miserable record in his second term with a 43 day shutdown, followed by yet another shutdown just months later. THE ONLY POTUS TO HAVE 3 GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS IN HIS TERMS.
Added roughly 2.25 trillion dollars to the national debt in his first year back in office alone, pushing the debt past 39 trillion dollars.
Somebody remind me who the party of fiscal discipline is again.
Pushed through the largest defense budget increase since World War Two while the debt kept climbing anyway.
Purged more than 300,000 federal employees in his first year back.
Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy.
Law and order, except when it’s inconvenient. At least 40 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free. Shocking absolutely nobody.
His family’s crypto ventures, including a meme coin and World Liberty Financial, pulled in more than 1.4 billion dollars in disclosed earnings while he sat in the Oval Office.
Draining the swamp was apparently code for filling his own pockets.
Sent the National Guard into American cities at a cost of nearly 500 million taxpayer dollars in 2025 alone, then BRAGS about lower crime. He has no long term solution - ever. He just sends in the military. The military seems to be his answer to everything.
His own tariffs are projected to cost the average American household more than 2,500 dollars this year.
YOU'RE PAYING FOR THIS. NOT CHINA. YOU!
Got America involved in a forever war with Iran, though promised the exact opposite.
Peace deal with Russia and Ukraine on Day One. He has continued to side with Putin and has never admitted that Russia invaded Ukraine - UNPROVOKED.
Now sitting at one of the lowest approval ratings of his second term, stuck in the mid 30s while inflation and gas prices make everyday life harder.
None of this is a conspiracy theory, a rumor, or something you saw in a group chat.
It is the actual, documented record, sitting in plain sight for anyone willing to look.
So the next time someone tells you to relax and give him a chance, ask them how many more indictments, judgments, and shutdown records he needs to rack up before that chance runs out.

We just learned more about Trump’s Venezuela oil deal, and here’s everything you need to know:
1. This deal is structured to hide the identities of people who stand to profit from it.
You don’t hide that unless you have a reason to. And the man whose firm Trump just bought a 35% stake in? Alejandro Betancourt, a Venezuelan billionaire who has faced several money-laundering investigations around the world.
2. Don’t expect cheaper gas anytime soon.
Experts have been telling us for MONTHS that oil production in Venezuela isn’t going to lower U.S. gas prices anytime soon. Betancourt’s company is able to deliver as much oil in a year as the U.S. uses in a few days. Anyone promising this deal will bring down prices at the pump is selling you lies.
3. If there’s a legal fight over this agreement, it has to go through a Texas court that Trump’s DOJ has repeatedly turned to for favorable rulings.
4. This deal creates a board designed to be shielded from oversight and accountability. Trump’s own Treasury Secretary wasn’t able to give Congress basic answers or audits when he testified about Venezuela just last month. But we should blindly trust them now?
So let’s recap: Americans aren’t going to feel relief at the pump. The identity of the people involved is conveniently hidden from us. And legal disputes go to a specific court that disproportionately rules in Trump’s favor.
Whatever you think American foreign policy towards Venezuela should be, Congress and the public deserve to know who’s involved and where the money is going.

等你再出来拧钥匙,这台车在明年春天化冻之前已经彻底变成了一坨搬不动的废铁: 在零下 50 度的极寒中,熄火不到半小时,发动机油底壳里的机油和变速箱油就会彻底失去流动性冻成坚硬的固态黄油;铅酸电瓶当场冻裂失效;
