Anna Slabodsky (as some of you know) is sectioned in a Sheffield psychiatric hospital. They've taken her vampire powers, and the only thing she has left is toilet paper, so she writes a letter to the Moon. A kind nurse posts it, and a postwoman is about to deliver it. Part 1 of 'Letters to the Moon', a Grok Imagine film I made scene by scene with Grok. It is about how nobody should be left alone, and how kindness can come from unexpected places. This time I think I nailed: Cakes, the delicious Dutch cakes are not dessert in the Netherlands. Dutch people eat it with coffee or tea as a snack. For dessert they eat ‘VLA’, a sort of creamy fruity custard. I checked it today again at a local Jumbo, and the choice was terrific! They even had lemon vla, which I bought to try. I also bought chocolate cake for dessert. Sorry, guys. Which vla is your favourite?

Dutch food isn’t ranked as best food ever but there is a gap about Dutch food that needs to be addressed. The Dutch desserts! Light, often with fruits, light cream that melts in your mouth and with amazing choice in a small local supermarket. Yesterday I strolled in local Jumbo to have a look, and even at the end of the day, the selection was excellent.
