People ask me which player from this year’s draft I’m most excited to see and my answer remains unchanged: Lily Shannon
A fantastic player and a great role model for so many young girls. San Jose fans are going to love watching her this season and beyond.
After sharing her experience playing hockey with hearing loss at the PWHL Draft, Lily Shannon received messages from families who saw themselves in her story.
She hopes to keep that connection going in San Jose.

But you remain confusing and frustrating. We had the chance to make real, meaningful change today yet chose to stay the course. I just don’t get it.

I spoke with her about her contract extension, off-season in VAN, and the upcoming season.

This is absurd and would never happen in men’s sports.
The WNBA will reportedly play Game 6 of the WNBA Finals at 12:30pm ET in Atlanta, per @ramonashelburne.
The league had been in 'nonstop frantic discussions' to arrange a time and location for the game due to scheduling conflicts at State Farm Arena with the NBA's Atlanta Hawks, who will play that same night in the same venue.
