Why?
Because Brand (and his then-girlfriend, Jemima Goldsmith) obtained a permanent, life-long, injunction against her.
Brand/Goldsmith said Ms Berki's accusations amounted to harassment, which caused them "anxiety and distress".

Jon Stewart on Chuck Schumer: “Someone has to meet this moment. You have an opportunity to actually govern. One of the first things you need to do is remove that system of seniority from Democratic politics. It’s a bullshit system and it needs to go. Chuck Schumer fought tooth and nail against half of these fucking people. He does not understand the urgency of the moment and what the future demands”

In an NBC News poll last week, Hakeem Jeffries had an approval rating of 18%, and Chuck Schumer's was 13%. It's wild seeing them both act like they have mandates to lead the party going forward.

This incredibly stifled article where they can’t state the real reason for that part of the park closing is truly quite sad.

Nearly two years ago, I interviewed a woman who runs a successful modeling agency.
She started as a receptionist and worked her way up. Most of their work was shooting models for catalogs. Each shoot required an entire cast: the model, yes, but also the stylist, makeup artist, photographer, lighting.
At the time, I was at Brookings, poring over exposure data from OpenAI. In that data, fashion models didn’t look “exposed” to AI at all. Models couldn’t use ChatGPT to save time on doing their job tasks, like a software engineer or social media manager could.
But the woman who ran the modeling agency had no hesitation. She saw what was coming (per this video) a million miles away. She posited: Why would the Nordstroms of the world pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a shoot if they can just use AI models? She told me it was bleak. If she wasn’t so close to retirement, she would have been distraught, especially if she was in the thick of raising her kids.
I have never forgotten that conversation. Whenever I would hear someone repeat, tritely, “you won’t lose your job to an AI. You will lose your job to someone else using AI,” I would think of her. All the AI skills in the world weren’t going to save her livelihood and the business she had poured blood, sweat and tears into.
The data we are using to track “exposure” misses an example like this when AI is so disruptive the whole industry shifts. The makeup artist, the photographer, the stylist, the lighting person: AI might not be able to be used to replace those jobs directly. But if AI simply automated modeling, it could take demand for those roles with it.

This is not "keeping politics out of music." If he wanted to do that he just would have played the show and not said anything. This is a political message designed to suppress a certain kind of speech he disagrees with.
Metallica frontman James Hetfield recently called out artists who turn their concerts into political rallies, saying:
“Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their BULLSH*T.”
Do you agree with James? Should musicians keep politics out of concerts, or should artists use the stage to speak about what they believe in?
Let’s debate. What do you think?

Very funny in the same breath he says "I don't think you should be using not real actors" but "it's cool if my grandkids can put me in movies".
