The boy’s mother wasted no time exploiting the situation, taking advantage of the lies being spread to launch a GoFundMe. She claims her son was “removed from the game because of concerns about his skill level” and describes the fundraiser as being about “more than one painful experience” and “protecting her son’s passion for soccer and making sure this moment does not define his journey.” Absolutely unbelievable. Turning this into a fundraising opportunity by twisting the narrative and playing on people’s emotions is disgraceful.
