Not everyone wants to go to heaven. Jesus is in heaven, and there are people that have been running from him and want nothing to do with him.

Forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation.
Sometimes reconciliation is not possible or even unwise
Sometimes forgiveness is not one big single choice that you make.
Sometimes it’s 1000 small choices made day in and day out. Alone. In the dark. When your memory gets flooded with the offence. When it interrupts your day and reminds you of the pain.
Keep choosing forgiveness. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to restore access to those who repeatedly harm you. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did is ok. Forgiveness is a gift to yourself. Not for them.
Wish them no harm. Pray God blesses them. And you can still pray the best for them, but from a safe distance.
