The Dream once again held the Valkyries to one of their worst offensive performances of the season.
This time, they paired it with a high-end offensive outing of their own and 24 half-court attempts at the rim.
Atlanta is now two victories away from winning the title.
“Our fans showed up. They showed up in every single possession. I thought Ballhalla was loud. Atlanta, y’all came out. And on a Wednesday on a school night. They got work tomorrow. I appreciate y’all for coming out…”

Back-to-back games in which the Valkyries have had disastrous ends to the 3Q.
No single player is responsible for the Valkyries being down, but Burton’s reluctance to break the paint and Williams settling for pull-up jumpers from behind the nail has messed with GSV’s spacing.

Big win for ChanDOT7 today. One pass TD and one rush TD. 38-14 final. He faked the MESS outta the defense on his rushing TD.
Listen to Kenzo. Has been banging this drum far longer than most
NEW📝:
We know what the Valkyries are all about but what do the statistics say about their season?
I dove into the analytics to see what they say about GSV’s shot diet, shot difficulty, on/off numbers, and more. Here’s how they’ve shaped their season:

They called me everything but a son of God….
As phenomenal as Gabby Williams is, it’s clear that the Valks are still a true #1 player away from taking the next step offensively. Time to open the bag in FA
Golden State starters scored the second-fewest points in WNBA Finals history in Game 2 with 32
Tonight?
33 points
As phenomenal as Kiah Stokes is on defense, I’m just not sure how you make up for the void on offense consistently in this environment. Already not enough players able to source their own offense

More history for Angel Reese: She is the youngest player (24 years & 168 days) in WNBA Finals history with three straight double-doubles. Just remarkable.
Took three full quarters before the Valks stopped letting Angel Reese getting whatever she wants going right
