Dick Carlson was the Vice Chariman of the ‘Federal Defence of Democracies’ (FDD) think-tank. In the mid 2000’s, the FDD created a Radio Show - “Danger Zone”, hosted by Dick Carlson. Buckley Carlson was the Executive Producer The FDD was regarded as “the most prominent pro Israel think tank in Washington (…) with a stated mandate to support Israel & advocate aggressive U.S. interventionist policy in the Middle East”. Foreign destabilization, reeducation, and war - just another day for The Carlsons. Pre & Post-9/11: Pre-9/11: In April 2001, a non-profit titled “Emet”, the Hebrew word for “Truth” & acronym - ‘Educational Project on Middle East Issues’ was formed by a coalition of prominent Pro-Israel philanthropists & political operatives (including Sheldon Adelson). Emet’s original mission-statement was to “Provide education to enhance Israel’s image in North America & the public’s understanding of Israeli-Arab relations” Post-9/11: The 9/11 terrorist attacks transformed the organization's trajectory, funding, and scope overnight. They changed the name from “Emet” to “FDD” and began creating Media & College programs to “educate” the American public. This included radio show, “Danger Zone” hosted by FDD Vice Chairman Dick Carlson, and produced by his son Buckley. ‘Danger Zone’ a Middle East Destabilization Propoganda Tool: ‘Danger Zone’ hosted numerous Intelligence, Defense, and National Security Figures. ‘Danger Zone’ explicitly pushed the position that “the United States should actively seek to replace the Iranian theocratic regime with a pro-Western democracy.” 🤨 Dick Carlson (with Buckley as his producer) repeatedly made the case for the U.S & Israel to use MILITARY STRIKES, COVERT SABOTAGE, and REGIME DESTABILIZATION operations in the region. 👀 Foreign ‘Training’ & Funding: In 2006, (with Carlson as Vice Chairman) George Bush gave a speech crediting the FDD with “training Iraqi women and Iranian students in the principles and practice of democracy” & “helping activists across the region organize effective political movements”🤔 From 2011-2014 The FDD recieved ~$1,000,000 in contributions from the “Jewish Communal Fund” ALONE. 💰 Selling the War & Destroy Israel’s Adversaries: In the first 5 years of its creation, The FDD conceived programs to “provide college professors with the tools they need to teach about the threat of terrorism and methods to combat it.” 🧐 Essentially, the FDD and was indoctrinating college students & professors within the U.S. Other programs included “study trips” to Israel to meet with Israeli, Turkish, Jordanian, and Indian officials.
