Billy essentially begged the filmmakers to show his dick.
"You Can See Everything" director Lance Oppenheim says Elizabeth Holmes' partner Billy Evans "didn't care about being seen naked" in the documentary: "We were in the car ride on the way back from the gym, and I said to Billy, ‘We will give you some time to shower.’ And Billy responded, ‘Want to film me showering?’ I offered to film him in a way that could avoid seeing his genitals, but Billy said he didn’t care about being seen naked.” variety.com/2026/film/news/y…

“Population density has become a veto over the rest of the state” is one of the dumbest things anyone has ever deigned to put into writing. Why yes, when a majority of people vote for something, the thing happens.
Rural conservatives in deep-blue states are effectively governed without consent. In New York, Republicans win most counties yet still lose statewide by 20 points because dense urban and suburban voters in New York City and its suburbs cast the decisive ballots and vote overwhelmingly Democratic. The result is that rural and upstate communities pay the taxes, live under the regulations, and absorb the costs set by politicians they consistently reject. Same story in California and Illinois. Population density has become a veto over the rest of the state.

The big lesson of the Biden years is that you have to prosecute these people. You can’t just move on. You need to make the next generation of grifters and hate mongers scared for their lives.

Only reason Trump gained traction to begin with is because the GOP hopefuls were egregious and unelectable even dating back *a decade*. Also why they’ve refused to detach from him (and btw, why he’s likely to try and stay in power beyond 2028) - they know no one has the juice.
The names Gingrich suggested as possible Republican alternatives to Vance in 2028 are all abysmal and/or ridiculous. Democrats should be delighted the post-Trump GOP bench is so awfully thin.

This is so funny because one primary reason Trump was elected again is because Biden couldn’t possibly fully sift the wreckage of the first Trump term in only 4 years.
Lara Trump: "It takes a long time to rebuild from the Biden years" 😆

Ah yes, we’re back to explaining how counties are made up of *people*, and how the largest counties and made up of *far more people*. It’s such an easy concept that is used to promote the most pernicious lies imaginable.

The most clear-eyed and spot-on distillation of what’s at stake in this upcoming Congress. And it’s coming not from the guys who feel entitled to leadership positions, but from someone who hasn’t even been sworn in yet.
El-Sayed: "I think we get one more chance at being able to regain the kind of influence that Donald Trump has destroyed. My hope is that people can trust us not just to run roughshod over our own values when the short-term incentives seem to dictate it, but to actually be about our values."

The fact that he thinks of investigating crimes as “getting even” is crystal clear evidence of why he shouldn’t be Speaker.
Hakeem Jeffries on Morning Joe: The American people don't want us to get even. They want us to get things done on their behalf because life is way too expensive. We ran on affordability, we won on affordability, and now it's our job to govern on affordability.

Can we go back to doing name puns for Ross, like “I Douthat Ross gets any pussy”?
At the very least people who told you that serious democratic contestation was going to disappear (because of mass immigration or left-elite cultural power or Trumpist authoritarianism or the undemocratic Constitution) have been consistently mistaken. nitter.gq/patrickc/status/211808…

Zohran Mamdani: “What last night showed us is that Americans are tired of being told that their needs are unrealistic by politicians who’ve been bought by the wealthiest people in the country. This country has elected a new generation of leadership. A generation with a mandate to lower the cost of living, to build not bomb, to never betray the working people who entrusted them with power. I hear often the politics we’re fighting for in New York City are not possible outside of city limits and what last night showed us is that working people are the majority whether we are speaking of Austin or Ann Arbor or Astoria and it is time to put those same people first in our politics”

Jeffries: "I haven't had a single member of the House Democratic caucus talk to me about impeachment. We've been relentlessly focused on affordability and accountability."

Or you can look at this way — Abdul’s vote share was only 2 points lower than Jocelyn Benson — a popular statewide elected official who faced an opponent that was abandoned by Republican outside groups weeks ago — after: — Enduring the most disgusting onslaught of racist and Islamophobic attacks in modern political history — An unprecedented onslaught of negative ads from outside groups dating back to the primary — His primary opponent (who nearly defeated him) endorsing his general election opponent days before the primary

He’s not ugly because he’s Jewish. He’s not ugly because he’s blind. He’s ugly because he’s ugly. And anyone who willfully and flagrantly seeks to stifle progress should be dragged in any and every possible manner. They asked for it.
Jon Stewart makes fun of Haley Stevens' fiancé's appearance. Her fiancé, Jason Turkish, is legally blind. This isn't comedy. It's bullying. And it’s disgusting.

Hey Dems we want a vibe that’s Mamdani + vindictive. We want effective leadership that gets shit done and improves people’s lives. And we want to see the fucking traitors face consequences. Do both.
