TMaG is a deeply mid movie which makes it kinda depressing to talk about. It’s so incredibly safe, idk I fell like we shouldn’t accept such a safe and forgettable movie. The writing just makes me sad 😣

I really don't understand the fetishization of practical effects these days. Not just in the fandom, movie marketing and BTS stuff too, even Star Wars. I remember George insisting the clones be CG, with essentially everyone on the team pushing back.. and now they're practical.

I hate how do many people in the comments don't recognize Carrie Beck and are even a bit dismissive towards her in favor of discussing Filoni. She's like on every project he does. If there's something from Dave that you like/dislike, there's a good chance she also worked on it.

Waking up to everyone shitting on Rebels (my fav SW anything) and Matt Michnovetz's writing kinda hurts ngl. I don't get why everyone is so eager to minimize animation or dismiss Rebels as a "mid cartoon". Not sure why we can't praise Andor and Dan Gilroy without putting down Reb

ROTS vs OWK. The OWK armor was built on the original CG model, so all the subtle shapes on the chest, helmet and base of the armor is essentially perfectly 1:1, which is why it's SO aggravating to me that they completely remodeled every piece from scratch for Ahsoka.

Spent a few days analyzing, collating, and editing. I've made what I believe to be the definitive version of the DC-15A. A refined take on the practical prop from Andor, more in-line with both the original CG model, and other live-action GAR/Imperial blaster props.

Lucasfilm's Marketing team desperately needs a shakeup and/or change in strategy. LFL used to be the king of generating hype, with some of the most impactful film trailers ever. We've fallen off so much, I can't help but think the whole Swagmin approach is taking up their time.

Wow. They're not only delisting LittleBigPlanet 3 and its DLC, but every piece of LittleBigPlanet DLC ever. So much content, so much history...all about to be gone. It's such a shame it ended like this. LittleBigPlanet deserved better.
