Educators are my favorite people. If we want to make sure future generations have the best possible chance at success, we have to invest in our teachers, students, and adequate school funding.

On this dark day 20 June 2005, Javad Fields and Vivian Wolfe were ambushed, shot down, and murdered. They should be alive today.
But they are not…
Their love of life is something that I admire every single day in the movement against gun violence.
Rest in Heavenly Peace🙏🏾🙏🏾

Gov. Polis signed #HB1008 Food Accessibly at Makola African Market, Aurora. A bill to expand food access. Special thanks to my colleagues @mjweissman & @NickForCO for supporting small, local retailers, family farms and the need to address the issue of food insecurity in Colorado.

I’ve never run for office before, but I have run the city. Far-fetched empty promises won’t solve our problems.
I'm supported by Gov. Ritter, Wellington & Wilma Webb, police, and many others because they know that this time, the most qualified man for the job is a woman.

It’s overwhelming to process another mass shooting.
Since January 1st, there have been 67 mass shootings. That's 2 a day. It breaks my heart every time. When will it end!
