“Luis Torrens” should not be owning the Cleveland Guardians.

I’ve been delaying this take, but Angel Martinez is not an everyday player. The power surge was nice, but the injury made people forget how bad he was playing before it. His chase rate is even worse than last season, which has always been the biggest issue holding him back. This is not a good player, as much as I want him to be.

The Cleveland Guardians are promoting INF Angel Genao to the big leagues. Genao is CLE No. 2 prospect and the No. 39 overall prospect in baseball. In AA and AAA this season: .300/.401/.474 .875 OPS 13 HR 53 RBI 68 K - 60 BB Welcome to the Show! 🔥

Jacob Cozart has a 96 WRC+ as a 23 year old in AA. He is completely and utterly blocked by 4 different catchers ahead of him. Trading him for 1.5 years of a proven lefty masher who also did this last season is a great trade for the Guardians.

Gavin Williams is under team control through 2029, if anyone has the impression that he’s on the trade block it’s because they made it up for no reason. Zero chance the Guardians trade him, especially during a breakout season.

Very impressed with Craig Yoho’s first inning! He’s going to be real good for us.

Kyle Manzardo spoke with @DreKnott after his homer in tonight's 6-1 win over the Reds led him to be named the Most Outstanding Player in the 2026 Ohio Cup. #GuardsBall

I really think Slade Cecconi could be a good bullpen piece. If you dial in his repertoire, and let him go max effort in a shorter role, I think he’s valuable. He has the right mentality. But this starting stuff just isn’t working.

I'd like Vogt to get Cecconi out of this game. He'll cough it up in this park.

Wow; I really thought Manzardo was going to come through there. It’s not like him to strikeout in a big spot
