My boyfriend can’t have sex My boyfriend and I have been together for a year, and honestly, he’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a partner. About three months ago, he developed hemorrhoids, and since then, our sex life has been a struggle. We’ve both tried to be patient, and he’s seen doctors and tried different treatments, but the problem hasn’t gone away. We’ve always been compatible sexually, and we both understood how important intimacy was to us before getting into this relationship. Now, neither of us feels fulfilled, and it’s starting to affect our relationship emotionally. I’ve reassured him that I’m willing to work through this with him, but he’s been having a difficult time accepting the situation. He gets upset because he can’t enjoy the kind of intimacy he prefers, and I feel guilty because I’m struggling too. I’ve tried being flexible, but I’m not comfortable taking on a role I don’t enjoy just to keep our sex life going. At the same time, I don’t want us to become completely disconnected….
