First time I been on a bike in 8 years due to my stroke what left me with a paralysed arm.. best present Iv ever got from mum and dad now i can join in with bike rides with my kids as I can steer and balance on a Trike @StrokeAssocEast @SOSHereForYou @TheStrokeAssoc

#strokerecovery - I try to feel motivated when people praise me for how well I’m doing and looking, but this can be frustrating, as I can’t remember how I was or how far I’ve come - strokes are complex - my biggest issues are NOT visible and still require intensive rehabilitation
I made a date that I'm going walk up Mountain snowdon 18th may next year for @strokeassoc ! I'm working so hard in the gym and with my personal trainer to get me to my goal 👌 @SportsDirectFit

It’s the little things nowadays which make me take a step back and realise how determined I am! When doctors said I wouldn’t be able to do things after my stroke, I wasn’t having any of it! Just build a BBQ one handed this afternoon and feel so proud of myself! @StrokeAssocEast
