Bernard Cribbins as a copper, a Police Telephone Box, and a very big gorilla.
I'm watching the French dub version of 'Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 AD'. In some scenes, they seem to have added far too little modulation to the Dalek voices - so they're just angry, shouty Frenchmen! #DoctorWho

I remember watching the first one (Themroc) on the B&W portable telly in my bedroom. Anticipation of something illicit very quickly turned to utter boredom. Consensus in the school yard the following Monday was 'we wuz conned'.

Worth watching once - but, personally, I've never repeatedly re-watched them the way I have with the BBC episodes.

I could happily binge-watch Season 17 right now as if it were 1979 again. Tom and Lalla are on top form. Exciting stories, and scripts dripping with Douglas Adams's wit. Cheap, yes - but cheerful. Absolute heaven.
Oh, the memories! First visited in 1975, aged 5. I was loving it until the Dalek Cavern at the end. The Daleks suddenly started moving and shouting - I screamed and ran for my life! Fled all the way back through the exhibition and out the entrance with my mum in hot pursuit!

A bijou treat from that #DoctorWho dry spell of 1989-2005; Bigger Inside Than Out, the mini-doc that went out before Planet of the Daleks Ep 01 on 5th Nov 1993.

THE WAR ON CHILDREN'S MINDS AND THE
MORAL FALL OF DOCTOR WHO (2005–25)
How Russell T Davies tried to lead kids through
diversity’s ‘open door’, and spectacularly failed
🧵At school, on TV and across social media children are being assaulted with far-left messaging. Rhetoric engineered to align with a future of total autocratic control.
Before they are old enough to understand the stakes, kids are indoctrinated with racial guilt as history is rewritten, conditioned to accept mass migration, and to believe that the earth is endangered by human activity. They are conditioned to accept transgenderism at the expense of others' hard-fought rights, and not to question far-left activists desecrating generations of culture.
‘Useful idiots’ working toward this dystopia are no longer in the shadows. They are upfront in their targeting of impressionable young minds who will run tomorrow's institutions, whether speaking at WEF conferences or working as activists embedded throughout the media, approving news content and gutting and repurposing legacy entertainment as propaganda.
Barely had the Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials got underway in November 2023, for example, when executive producer Russell T Davies publicly exulted: “The gags and the action is for the adults and the messaging's for the kids!”
Good morning.
And a very happy Android Invasion day to you all.

A lovely Cyberman action figure.
But probably not the one you're expecting.
