Here are the numbers from Hansard question, so around 50 per year. Still sad when a school closes though surely, the 100 figure was from the UK Labour Treasury Minister. Also strange that @UKLabour are blocking HMRC plans to put Vat on city investment management service fees ?

Are you able to explain why, when @RachelReevesMP & @Keir_Starmer think VAT should be charged on school fees as they鈥檙e a service, they shouldn鈥檛 be charged on city investor investment management fees which are also a service please ?

And yet @Keir_Starmer & @RachelReevesMP are blocking HMRC plans to put VAT on city investment management fees

If you鈥檙e going to restrict opposition to NISPs there needs to be a rule that if @PINSgov says a DCO should be refused it is not overruled. This happened with the Manston airport DCO and despite the Govs own assessor @Arup agreeing with @PINSgov it was approved.

@bphillipsonMP you put VAT on school fees but @RachelReevesMP @Keir_Starmer are blocking @HMRCgovuk from putting it on investment management service fees, yet again @UKLabour is a party for the rich, not the hard working people of this country. Shame on you all.

Why is @UKLabour giving city investors a break ? If VAT is due on school fees why not for city investors ? HMRC clearly think it should be.

Amazing a party like @UKLabour supposed to support working people won鈥檛 take more from those with the broadest shoulders but takes from pensioners, farmers, small businesses and the sick and disabled. They鈥檝e let the Non Doms and Private equity companies off and now city investors

@RachelReevesMP @Keir_Starmer yet again when the big City investors don鈥檛 like a tax increase @UKLabour caves in whilst giving not an inch to pensioners, farmers and small business owners

@RachelReevesMP @Keir_Starmer time to reach a compromise with the farmers, you seem to be able to do it when the City investors shout
