Choosing a campaign is always a herculean task if you’re a newbie, but looking at it from the perspective of a niche will greatly narrow down your options and make the choice easier. A lot of the time the clips were fine. The niche was the problem. Here are the 3 I’d start with: - Podcasts Long videos with a lot of material. One episode can give you 10 or more clips, and there’s always a new episode. Best for people who like finding the moment inside a long conversation. - Streamers Fast, loud, and the clips are already built for short form. If you watch streams already, you can tell what will pop before you post it. That’s a big advantage. - Lifestyle Easy for anyone to relate to, so people stay and share. It works best when the clip carries a real feeling like struggle, a flex, or a hard truth, not just a nice-looking day. Pick the one you already understand. You’ll know what people want to see, and that’s what gets views. Pick one and stay with it long enough to learn what works. Switching every week keeps you a beginner. Most people think clipping is video editing. It's not. 🎬 Clipping is marketing. No big company is going to budget $40,000 just so someone can trim their video. They're paying to get in front of new users, new fans, new people who've never heard of them. 📈 Views are nice. Turning strangers into fans is the job. So next time you clip, don't think like an editor. Think like a marketer. 💰

This is why I love my cohort, yesterday I spotted an underrated campaign, I shared with everyone explained editing style , dropped guide, told everyone the best way to rack up the bags set a target and today we have made our first money in the campaign, the goal is to double down ! $6k shared by 5 people is not bad.

If your clips keep getting stuck at 200 views, don’t assume the algorithm is against you. Most people blame the platform and start posting more. But more of the same clip gives you the same result. Check these first: The clip. Did it give a stranger a reason to stop in the first 2 seconds, or did it start slow with context nobody asked for? The topic. Are you clipping what people are already searching for, or what you personally find interesting? The account. Is the page built around one niche, or is it a mix of random clips the app can’t place? Fix one thing at a time and watch what changes. A page stuck at 200 views is giving you information. Most people just never read it.

Not every clip does the same job. Here’s how I’d rank clip types by how well they make someone follow the page: Struggle and failure moments Hard truths A real flex that earns its place Hot takes Trending moments Advice with no story Trending gets you the view. Emotion gets you the follow. You need both, but if all your posts sit at the bottom of that list, you’ll get views that disappear.

There no amount of money you’ll pay to learn clipping that you won’t make back in 2 weeks.

Clipping is hard for you because no one is holding your hand. I don’t let my cohort waste a single time on campaigns that won’t get them paid.

You keep hearing "target US viewers" and nobody tells you how to do it when you're not in the US. That was me. I'd post good clips, get views from everywhere, and none of it counted for the campaigns that wanted US audiences. Then I found the setup that fixed it.
