is it wrong to suggest chris rigg has that jude bellingham about him? unbelievable quality for his age at 16. seriously think he is ready for the championship now #SAFC
Liked the look of this when we were initially linked. Coventry reportedly out the race. Certainly knows where the back of that net is. Can see this one being done #SAFC

Massive shame for Jay Matete. Hoping it was just a precautionary taking him off. Looked very positive this pre season. Reads the game well, quick and can drive with the ball. Could be a big asset this season. #SAFC
#SAFC credited with an interest in a loan deal for Ecuadorian right winger Jeremy Sarmiento. Insanely talented player and would seriously bolster our attacking threat. throw everything at them mr speakman🙏
Early days but i would confidently say the recruitment team have got it spot on once again. 19 year old, big strong frame, looks so so comfortable in play, finds great space and ultimately tied down for 5 years protecting the club. Young lad looks very very promising🤞. #SAFC
2 goals in 2 for 16 yr old chris rigg in pre season. put his faith in the club that trusted him and is the perfect place for young talented players right now. banging on the door of the 1st 11. what a talent he is #SAFC
Let it cook #SAFC
Decided to play about with possible lineups for this season. Mowbray would never play this formation and rightly so but shows the talent we have. If acquired Frigan could be a very dangerous signing along that front line from clips seen. He is everything we need. Good TEAM #SAFC
Wont hear otherwise we have a truly norT kit pairing, With a third on its way 👀 #SAFC #NewThreads #Sunderland
Soms people angry about big danny batth being 1 of the 3. You need to understand:
1. If we did renew, he'd be pushing on 34 which isnt the club's dynamic.
2. He's a decent defender, thats it. Defensively sound. But the club has sounded out better defensive technical talent...
EXCLUSIVE: Sunderland looking to move on experienced trio as they look to future

In Jenson Seelt and Nectarios Triantis. Both of Whom have great defensive capabilities, great ball playing capabilities and a very high potential ceiling.
3. The club will now take a ruthless approach. They want to go up. Which consists of immediate improvement.

I have a dream. Mr speakman work your magic and make this demonic attack happen. #SAFC
disgraceful these bids mind. but one thing we'll take from this jack clarke transfer saga. the club will not be pissed around anymore and that is beyond refreshing to see. #SAFC
Burnley have in the last 24hrs made a bid in region of £9m for Sunderland winger Jack Clarke.
The 22yo is attracting lots of interest — following a brilliant season.
#SAFC yet to respond to Burnley’s latest offer — multiple bids have been made by Vincent Kompany’s PL side.
Would love is to push to a midfield 3. Despite a highly successful season, we were overrun many times in midfield, especially at home. Jobe slightly advanced ahead in the middle would be a great fit. Many great players missed in this. Just shows our improvement in squad strength.
personally think the progress of these three, assuming jobe bellingham arrives, will be astonishingly scary under mowbray next season. can even throw dan neil into that mix but these three have incredible potential. #SAFC
