Deeney: "Bayern have not been the same, what about the Bundesliga? They've been terrible."
Bayern's four home results so far this season before playing Arsenal.
Bundesliga:
Stuttgart: 5-1
Union Berlin: 7-0
Leipzig: 6-1
UCL
Bodo/Glimt: 5-0
Played 4, won 4, scored 23, conceded 2.
Honestly, this is the analysis people who pay money for subscriptions get?
There is no other team than Arsenal that could go away to Bayern, play really well, have a great game and come away with a deserved 2-2 draw and still get criticised.
Just complete and utter waffle of the highest order.
"It was just a performance that left me confused... I thought it was a game Arsenal should win and that's a credit to Arsenal."
@T_Deeney believes Arsenal could have given more to win the game 🗣️

Anthony Edwards has 37 points in 2.5 quarters. With just one free throw. What a maniac.

Guy is 19 and people are rinsing him for developing… The environment now for youth prospects is unforgiving.
Normal ‘peak’ for players starts at 24/25. Just because you have expectations it doesn’t mean it will be a linear route to those expectations for the kid.

I wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel watching a City game for the first time since the guilty verdict. But watching that yesterday - the smug smiles to the camera, the away fans waving cash around, the banners, chants. It's just all a hollow sham. The whole Premier League season is.
It can still be saved, just. But in truth we all know it's probably going to continue to drag for a few months at least before we get anything close to clarity.
So we'll see those scenes again and again this season because they are a great team with great players who are going to keep winning. It's just going to make such a mockery of this season.
Every goal, every celebration, every glance at the league table, you just ask yourself the same questions. What does it mean? What's the point of this all? What's the point of spending our money to watch?
Of course we will still do it and come kick-off of most games. (when City aren't playing in them), we'll probably forget about it and get caught up in what we're watching.
But then the full-time whistle will go and it will start all over again.
So many seasons/moments have been lost for millions of fans around the world already because of what they've done and this season is going to be no different. Such a shame.

Watching MOTD. The reaction of the City fans and their players is jarring. They all know what the club has done, they know what they’re a part of, and they relished it. I don’t think you can have any sympathy for them now. They’re finito when the sanctions come round.
