Many of you will know Jonathan 'Jigger' Thomson from his time at HGC. Unfortunately, he recently had the devastating news recently that his Leukemia has returned. A friend is planning a fundraising walk to raise money for him & also to raise awareness 👉🏻 gofundme.com/f/jigger-thomps…

Good luck to Adam Fletcher for his charity golf day on Friday. Always raises much needed funds for the Hospice.

Still banging our heads against a brick wall. Still wet through, still raining, still more rain forecast. Trying to do what we can where it’s dry enough. It’s going to be a long old spring

Greens cut again before tomorrows rain, try and get some cutting done on other surfaces although this may leave a few muddy marks, but your damned if you do damned if you don’t at the minute.

A very interesting article from Bigga about how this winters heavy rainfall has impacted golf courses everywhere. bigga.org.uk/news-listing/go…

With the forecast that we had for today, for the lads to get all the greens cored and collected by 12 was some effort. Next few days we will get 40+ tonne sand worked into the greens
