Kirby Smart asked about SEC carnage this season
"Everybody is practicing less, but everyone is getting injured more, it doesn't make sense."
"(Players) were definitely hungrier (in the past)."
"A lot of these guys, honestly, make more than I made until I was 40."

Great coaching is about a lot more than X’s and O’s.
The best coaches build relationships, set clear standards, communicate, teach, compete, stay humble, and develop leaders.
Talent matters.
But these 10 traits are what separate good coaches from excellent ones.

I am so honored to be the 10th lineman in Sacred Heart Griffin history to earn 30 Varsity starts at the last game of my Junior year. I am grateful to be part of this amazing football legacy and program, and look forward to continuing to represent the Cyclones on the field this post season and my upcoming senior year. Thanks to the coaches who continue to believe in me!

Mike Webster wasn’t just a great center. He was the standard.
Chuck Noll called him the best to ever play the position — the one spot he never had to worry about.
Terry Bradshaw called him the spine of those Steelers teams.
He prepared harder than anyone. First to the line. Last out of the room.
Nine years as offensive captain. Four Super Bowls.
That’s how dynasties get built.
Iron Mike. Gone 24 years today. Still the measuring stick.
