The weight room is not just about getting stronger.
It is about getting tougher, more disciplined, and more committed to the team around you.
Preparation transforms you. It not only transforms your body but your mind.

You want to win and advance but the biggest thing is you want to see the kids grow. Sometimes you’ve got to go through the fire before you can really grow. I want to see kids when I evaluate, when they play awful how are they then? Do they blame everybody, act like they don’t care or do they come and you see they go back to the gym to work.

"The grind to compete and win isn't fun.
It's very hard to compete and grind.
The fun is enjoying that success together.
Fun is fighting through hard in life.
Fun is fighting through tough times with a group of people you love."

Dan Lanning said, "You know to accomplish a goal, it has to be valuable what you're willing to give up."
"You can't just sacrifice something that's easy to give up."
Success requires sacrifice.
Success requires hard work.
Success is never a product of shortcuts.

3. Learn from every mistake.
4. Play with passion, not pressure.
5. Enjoy every moment.
Don’t just play the game.
