A year at Arkansas next year!
🇫🇷 6-9 Mohamed Diakite is off to a very promising start to his freshman season at East Texas A&M
Had a monster two-way performance today vs Rice with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks while shooting 9-17 from the field
With his size and length Diakite has been able to change games on the defensive end early in the season, while also being a legit spacer, on-ball option and transition athlete.
Had legit reps in the Eurocup just a year ago, clearly a talent above this level but it was a very smart spot for him to develop, also gets to be on more radars as result.
Really intriguing prospect that I'm eager to see grow this season.
I need to connect with Arkansas highs and get players to participate in an Arkansas vs. Mississippi Delta Showcase. Someone point me to the right direction.

Darius Acuff Jr. says he chose Arkansas because of John Calipari’s track record of developing NBA star guards, including MVPs Derrick Rose and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
“It was all Cal. I credit Coach Chin too, assistant coach [Ronald] Chin Coleman. It was them two for sure. The guards, seeing that history it's hard to pass that up. He got I think two MVPs now with Derrick Rose and Shai”
“Seeing all them guys make it to the NBA. Some guys they averaged 13, 14 points and they top 5, top 10 picks. So seeing the history behind that and like I said earlier, Cal, he's not just a coach, he’s a great guy off the court. He look out for you in real life. That was the biggest thing for me. That relationship was different from anybody else”
Guards coached by Calipari and their NBA draft years:
- Derrick Rose (2008)
- Tyreke Evans (2009)
- John Wall (2010)
- Eric Bledsoe (2010)
- Brandon Knight (2011)
- Devin Booker (2015)
- Jamal Murray (2016)
- De’Aaron Fox (2017)
- Malik Monk (2017)
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (2018)
- Tyler Herro (2019)
- Tyrese Maxey (2020)
- Cason Wallace (2023)

Dwyane Wade earned $196 million in the NBA. At home, Gabrielle Union pays half the bills. And she insisted on a prenup.
It started with one sentence. Wade says they were arguing in Miami and he called it "my house that I paid for." She told him he would never say that to her again. In L.A., she paid half of the new home. "You will never say my house again."
In May 2023, Union said it on a Bloomberg podcast: "in this household, we split everything 50/50." Wade says it covers about three things, like the house. Everything else, each pays their own. They married in 2014, and in her memoir she wrote that she "got taken to the cleaners" in her first marriage.
The case for 50/50: she earns her own money, she already paid for one divorce, and nobody gets to call the home "mine."
The case against: he made $196 million, a marriage is not a business deal, and splitting bills with someone who earns more keeps the gap.
In the video below, Wade explains how 50/50 works in their house.
If your partner earns far more than you, should you still split the bills 50/50?

Evan Turner asking Gilbert Arenas What makes a player an elite defender if elite scorers are judged on how many points they score. Then how are elite defenders judged of .People say PJ Tucker is an elite defender, but when he guarded Kevin Durant, KD scored 48 points. So, did you do your job as a defensive player. What’s the criteria
