Every year at this time I chuckle when I think of the people that say “winning isn’t everything” or think everyone gets a trophy. Clearly winning is everything and only a select few will get a trophy.
Train our kids to be tough and work to win. I believe that is a life lesson.
Well if the coaching thing doesn’t work for Trent Hopkins @TrentHopkins24 in the future he needs to be a chef. He killed it with Cajun Chicken Alfredo tonight!
We are judged by what we do on stage in front of the lights, but we are built for those moments by what we do off stage in the dark when no one is there.

What bring love of the game more and lifetime sports fans from your players? Transformational or transactional coaching. The difference between fear or love. We coach memories. Make them good ones.

Duke coming to Raleigh is always interesting. We have seen some pretty bad State teams beat good Duke teams on multiple occasions. Those thoughts are always in mind for this game. This Duke team is really clicking and State has hit a skid. We’ll see what tonight holds #GoState
The health journey has begun. It will be about choices and habits to better health, but it has already resulted in 8 pounds lost. For me it’s about a better healthier me most of all that can be better for my family in the end.
