In Focus - Rhys Denton
It's incredible what Oxfordshire's Rhys Denton has accomplished as a coach in a relatively short space of time. We sat down to chat to him about his coaching journey, including starting Advantage Football Academy 👇️

❌GOFUNDME❌
I have seen another 4 Gofund me pages this week for players with no injury and accident cover!
Can we please do better in making sure if you play you protect yourself with injury cover and income protection.
I also have a lot of managers on here, you have a duty of care to your players ensure all of them protect their careers and incomes asap that should be a priority
Corrrrrrrrrrrrrrr go on the boyyyyyy 👀
✍️ WELCOME BACK, BEN PURCELL! 🔴⚫️
Bracknell Town are delighted to announce the return of 22 year old midfielder Ben Purcell, who rejoins The Robins from Hayes & Yeading United.
Ben came through the academy system at Reading, featuring regularly at U21 level, while also earning international recognition with Wales, progressing through the age groups and captaining his country at U19 level. 🏴
After gaining senior experience with Hartley Wintney and Farnborough, including at National League South level, Ben originally arrived at Bracknell before moving on to Farnham Town.
His time with Farnham proved hugely successful, with Ben involved in back to back promotions, playing his part as the club continued its rapid rise through the non league pyramid.
Most recently with Hayes & Yeading United, Ben now returns to The Robins with considerably more senior experience under his belt and becomes another important addition to Adam Hopkins’ new look midfield.
Technically strong, composed in possession and with the energy to influence the game at both ends of the pitch, Ben adds further quality and competition to the group.
Unfortunately, Ben is cup tied in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy, meaning Robins supporters will have to wait a little longer to see him back in red and black.
He will be available to make his return when The Robins travel to Wimborne Town on Saturday 12th September. 👊
A Robin once again. Welcome back to Bracknell, Purce! 🔴⚫️

OUR FIRST MONTH IN NATIONAL LEAGUE SOUTH - FINANCIALLY 📊⚽️
August was @FarnhamTownFC’s first ever month at Step 2.
3 home games.
4,212 supporters through the gates.
And more than £100,000 generated around those matches before hospitality, commercial sponsors and season tickets are included.
Last year August saw us take just over £30,000. That's some growth.
Here’s what we learned 🧵

The best kind of humbling you can get.
A proper reminder never to get too high when successful - now it’s even more important we don’t get too low in defeat.
Credit to @ReadingCityFC & @simmydembels shown a level we aspire to be at soon 👊🏾💛⚽️
Full credit to the boys for adapting the game plan in the second half.
When executed well - they made light work of a real tight game.
Energy moves to a real test on Friday. Can’t wait 💛⚽️🔥
Full time, and we progress in the @EmiratesFACup
Thank you to our hosts @AmershamTownFC - two competitive games between the two sides. We look forward to facing you again soon
Everything that the first half was the second half wasn’t.
We can’t afford to worry about what might have been.
Hoping for another strong response after a progressive week for the squad ⚽️💛
Corrrr what a bunch! Was so good to meet the boys again today!
Hope to see them at a game soon & come and see them play asap ⚽️💛
Tonight was built on ownership and accountability.
Every player gave everything for the badge, every staff member set the bar high, and the performance reflected that.
It’s only one result, but it’s another step towards becoming the team we want to be.
Back to work ⚽️💛
It’s a results business and unfortunately we fell short in 2 moments and paid the price against a top @NGUFC side.
Biggest change I’ve seen already is how much it hurt the players - we will do what we can to prepare ahead of another week of fixtures ⚽️💛
2 things I forgot to mention.
1. Best wishes go from all involved at @NorthLeigh_FC to Qasim Khan!
2. Was great to see so many people down for the first home game of the season! Hopefully we see you again next weekend ⚽️💛
