@CoachDrew33 was in the group chat during the predraft process saying Coop was as good of a prospect as KD. I thought he was crazy. I'm like KD was 1st team all NBA by year 3 and yeah. He was right

Reminder that whatever happens over the next several days, we’re still getting to witness Year 2 of Cooper Flagg in Dallas regardless. It is going to be a whole lot of fun.

I’ll always be so grateful for how cool Dirk Nowitzki always was in person. People say don’t meet your heroes because they’ll let you down, but Dirk lived up to the billing & then some. Miss that guy.
It’ll be this on sight with Tony Brothers
Only if I get to bring @CoachDrew33 with me. We’d have the most inspiring no-hands-in-pockets coaching they’ve ever seen.
Great for you maybe
So me and @CoachDrew33 went to a Memphis basketball camp one summer. There was a kid named Eugene Johnson… most athletic HS player I’ve ever seen. He was on my team for the scrimmages and gave DJ a crotch-to-face dunk 😂. Not sure what became of him but it’s a great memory.
It was always Kingston Flemings. Acuff very well might go on to be an all-star, but Flemings perfectly fits the type of roster Dallas is building around Cooper Flagg. He also just might end up being the best player drafted when all is said and done.
New @MavsStepBack dropping tonight. @CoachDrew33 joined me today to talk about Darius Acuff vs. Kingston Flemings. 👀

Had some fun with this piece on @SouthernMissMBB’s @TylikWeeks performance vs Troy. Arguably the best half of basketball ever played by a Golden Eagle.

“Bully” Weeks (@TylikWeeks) was dominant down the stretch, scoring 18 of his 28 points in the final 10 minutes, as Southern Miss got a much-needed win over James Madison at RGC today. #SMTTT si.com/college/southernmiss/…
For my first piece, I decided to highlight @SouthernMissFB’s offering of local star QB @SmithStringer16. QB with elite intangibles, a big-time arm, and a sky-high ceiling. Would no doubt be an excellent addition to the Eagles’ 2027 recruiting class should he decide to stay home.
