Earlier in the season, Brewer manager Pat Murphy pulled rookie Cooper Pratt for not fully running out a hit.
Tonight, Murph pulled veteran William Contreras for not running out a ball to first.
The Brewers win because the Standard is the Standard for rookies and vets. @Brewers

Taped some cash to a ball for the Wrigley bleacher creatures to grab some beers in what could be his final game as Cub 🙌

Posture matters
Hold your angles throughout the swing:
✅Butt behind your heels
✅Chest over the plate
Get INTO good posture and STAY THERE as you rotate.
Your posture helps determine how your barrel works.
Stay in posture → barrel can stay through the hitting zone.
Come out of posture → barrel comes out of the hitting zone.
It isn't about rotating as fast as possible.
It’s how fast can you rotate while maintaining great posture and staying over the plate.
Turn fast. Hold your angles. Keep the barrel working through the zone.

My rules at third on passed balls and wild pitches. 0 outs — score standing up. 1 out — score sliding. 2 outs — score on anything off the dirt circle. The key is pushing momentum through the contact zone on your secondary. Aggressive reads start with well-timed secondaries.

Kansas State's Collin Klein: "Top to bottom, my faith, my relationship w/Jesus is the most important thing. These situations are completely because of him & everything that he has blessed me & my family with. It's not because of how hard I've worked, how smart I am. It has nothing to do w/that"
Always a fun week in Enid, OK!!!
Excited to represent the great state of Kansas next week at the @Highplainseries 2026. Check out our final rosters & proposed pitching rotations for 2026
