I’ve seen a player score 1000pts in ONE HS season & not get recruited!
I’ve seen a state Mr. Basketball winner go NAIA!
I’ve seen a player average 5 ppg in HS go to a Power 5 D1 & play major minutes!
Comparison is the thief of joy! Run YOUR race and walk YOUR path!

Great things take time. You need to be process driven, not results driven
A proper foundation is much more important than instant success

My @teammookiebetts 15u had a successful weekend going 4-2 in the On The Radar Elite 32 the 16u division. We ended the weekend with solid defense by holding a team to only two points in the second half.
Let’s go!!! @Bosah_34

I want to be the best I can at everything. Marriage, parenting, friendship, being a son, work; all of those buckets matter to me. I want to pour into them with every ounce of what I have to offer, but then what’s left for me? On the flip side I feel selfish for even asking that question, because if those things fill you then it should be ok if you’re too empty for yourself at the end of the day.
I haven’t thought about death much until recently. Maybe because I know it’s inevitable. Maybe it’s because I have an incessant need for everyone to be ok and I just want to be here to make it happen, but it’s my reality. It’s my job to take care of it all. I’m just petrified that I’ll just eff it all up!

Big facts!! It’s been a very competitive two sessions for sure!!
This yr @ny2labasketball doesnt have the HM dudes it did last year but has way more LM-MM than last yr. The margin for error in the league this yr is super slim for all teams. Close games everywhere. The league was rocking thru the first 2 sessions. #Sheesh 🥵🥵🥵 #NotForTheWeak

2026 Eli Brown is skilled & smart guard who continues to show his scoring ability. Pure jumper spotting up from the outside with deep range, skilled passer, good moves with the ball. Had 21 points hitting 5 threes in a win. @teammookiebetts @ny2lasports #GrassrootsShowcase
