WHAT IN THE WORLD: How in the heck to the refs pick the flag up on this helmet hit by Fred Warner in a game where the stripes are supposed to be watching the play, looking out for player safety, have independent oversight in-stadium on helmet hits and Park Ave watching too.
#Commanders have a valid gripe.

Amik Robertson's interception was wiped out by a flag for defensive pass interference. The Giants scored a touchdown three plays later.
Was this a penalty?

Very weak contact here on this PI call. Robertson has been so good and this is an excellent play.
Very slight grab here that gets called almost never. Weak flag in that moment of the game.

Yet another phantom pass interference call saves Jameis from yet another interception.

Textbook CB rep? Yes. But the refs called PI and the Giants scored a few plays later… #RaiseHail
Another ghost penalty on the @Commanders defense - @NFL seriously what the hell are we doing here? This ain't flag football!

Washington Commanders get an interception off of Jameis Winston but it is called back due to a flag for pass interference here
Seems like a timely observation - what the hell is going on @NFL?
if you watched the NFL and thought something didn't feel right, you're not alone:
#1 most flags in over a decade
thru 4 weeks, refs are impacting the most CRITICAL moments of games most:
#1 most red zone penalties per game by offenses in history
#1 most penalties on 3rd/4th downs in the second half of games in history
and 17 touchdowns nullified by penalty! (vs only 5 in 2025 & 4 in 2024)
Refs are impacting the most important moments of games unlike we've ever seen before in the NFL, and even some of the coaches are speaking up

That is an ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS PI call @NFL - Defender made the play on the ball after getting inside position. You just changed the course of the game and handed the offense 6pts. Trash call. Be better.
